Cap reduction

It's not a cap reduction if it's rolled into the payment. That's the whole point of a cap reduction-to pay some of the lease upfront to lower the monthly. Without knowing all of the fees rolled in it's otherwise hard to tell exactly how good of a deal this is.

Looks like they are marking up the acquisition fee by $300

I suggest you go and plug your full numbers into a lease calculator such a leasehackr.com to see all the different moving parts and where you might be able to reduce your monthly.
I wanted to tell others something I just found out. The cap reduction is paid through the lease incentives so the buyer doesn't have to pay anything out of pocket...although it is still sort of out of pocket because the MSRP isn't going down, it is just the dealer applying the lease promotional credit to the cap cost.

Hi all,
New to the forum. I just received my quote and have some questions:

First of all here is my quote:
MSRP: $48,440
Dealer Selling Price: $43,742
Plus Additional Rebates: $4500
24 Month Lease
10K miles per year
$2000 total due at signing
$509 per month

The lease includes all additional taxes and fees:
1st Month Payment: $509
Bank Acquistion Fee: $595
Dealer Documentation Fee: $799.75
NY Motor Vehicle Fees: $350
NY Taxes: $1,374.11
Total Fees: $3,627.86

Question:
Do you think the number of the additional fees look ok? They seem a lot to me.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts in advance!

Those fees seems standard for Alfa.

By my calculations, your prorated lease payment for 10k miles a year is about 1.19% of MSRP. You are in the range of what I would deem is fair on a Giulia (1.2% or less). You could try to squeeze them for another 20 bucks less a month for the same terms, but even if you can't that is not a bad deal.

Thank you very much for the suggestion, Dr. Klopek!
I was shocked to such a big difference between number from the calculator on the official site and the dealer's offer.
I feel better now...
Hopefully, I can get them to lower the monthly to $480-ish / month.

Your eyes did not deceive you. There aren't any.
**** i noticed that a few days ago when i start looking.. I wonder why?, i have an idea lol.

I don't even remember seeing that fee description in my lease, but the others look identical.
doc fees (at least in NY) are basically what the dealer charges you for the expense of going to DMV to file all the papers and pick up your tags. etc. which BTW is BS because every dealer I have purchased from has tags already in the dealership, they just plug in the paperwork with your VIN
nope this sounds like good old "rust proofing undercoat" speak to me...

Here is a quote I received on a standard Giulia AWD with Cold Weather, static assist, and 18s. It seems fairly in line with the deals I have seen posted here. I am located in the North East- Maine specifically. I was hoping to get them to budge a bit more on the over all cap cost This quote is from a MA based dealer:

24mo/10k Mi
MSRP: $43,290
Rebates: $5,500
Dealer Discount: $2672
Cap Cost: $35,118
Sales Tax: $1381.80 (anyone smarter than me able to figure if this is a MA or ME value? Not sure the sales persons on the ball)
Dealer/State Fees: $524
Total Price: 37,023.80

Monthly @ $0 down: $456.99

MA, ME, or MZ... no matter which one it is that deal is golden.

If willing to travel a bit, a dealer out in Erie PA was offering me a pretty decent deal without much haggling

MSRP $46,490
Sales price$ 41,740 ($4750 discount)
Rebates $3,750
Misc fees $138 Pa Dealer Document, the acquisition is from the bank and has already been rolled into the payment, the govt fees will be closer to $60-70 which is for things like notary, temp plates, etc..
Residual is 63%
MF is .60 with tier 1 credit
Your monthly payment would be $429 with the first payment due at signing
That was done with me using 7.95% sales tax.
I am in the midwest, so my rebates are smaller, should have max of $4500 rebate for the northeast if you have a competitor lease or own.

sales guy was jsutton@fiatoferie.com, so far very pleasant to deal with.

Thanks Dr. Klopek - you're a gentleman and a scholar.

That's a hot deal from that PA outfit- I have put the feelers out there.... we'll see...

Now if I could just sell my Subaru and get this ball rolling! Fingers crossed september's incentives remain this attractive...

If anything, they'll get better. They've got a lot of 2017 inventory to move before the 2018's come on the lot in October.

Contacted a dealer in Northern Cali and they told me they have Lease offers for the QV they have. The sales rep sent me this and its pretty vauge. I asked for a breakdown of any incentives MSRP etc. I haven't heard back..

2017 Alfa QV
Vesuvio Gray
CF racing seats
Dark Tenico Wheels
Harmon Kardon System
Yellow calipers

36 months, 10,000 miles per year
$7,878 total due at signing
$1,642.53 plus tax
$34,647.80 residual value

I also thought the residual was really Low on an 80k+ car.. am I missing something?. **** I thought my 07 Vovlo S60R when I had it depreciated faster than the sinking of the Titanic... it was like 7500-7800 a Year.. it was a sad day when I sold it. I was able to get enough for two tickets to go see Capt America Civil war lol

Hi everyone, could I get some insight on this deal? This is in Texas

2017 Giulia AWD
MSRP - $41490
Deal - $36873
I'm getting a tax credit, making tax at 1.5%
12k miles for 36 months...50% residual
0 down
$537

How does this stack up? I've asked them what money factor they're using, but when i initially asked they said the APR was 2.15%

Also, I've noticed many people only lease for 24 months. Any particular reason?

Thank you so much in advance

People lease for 24 because of the lower MF and higher residual, MF comes out to 0.6% basically.

They aren't doing you any favors on that deal. Do you qualify for the conquest offer? Basically... do you own any non-FCA car.

A "good deal" is around 1% of MSRP. So in this case, you'd want to shoot for $415 a month or lower. But if you love the car and HAVE to have it, go for it. Personally I think AR is hurting baddddddd for sales, so you can push them harder to make a deal. Contact multiple dealers, aim for 18-19% off total.
