Well, I have officially received leasing info from one dealer here in LA. I believe this is the TI, but they didn't list as such so maybe it is just the base model. MSRP of 40,590, 48 months @ 579 with 1999 down (taxes and fees not included). This sounds a bit steep to me. But maybe I shouldn't be surprised since they told me they have a 10k markup on the QV but would lease for 48 months with 15K down at $1400 a month (which is insane). Any one else received any info yet?

Lease for Giulia & Giulia Ti are posted online
I am looking at buying or leasing a ti Sport with various options that bring it up to $51,535 MSRP. I have around $22k of available cash to spend on a new car. With the current incentives, I can buy the car for $592/Month for 48 months, buy it for $485/Month for 60 Months, or lease it for $14 a month for 36 months (with the $22k down payment in both cases). Still pondering what to do but I like the $14/Month payment plan, LOL! The problem is I will have to start over in 3 years, but hey there may be a newer model to look at by then.
I would never put 22k down on a lease or anything even close to that! Unless you plan to own it, even then, why pay all that money up front when the car isn’t even technically yours. If you get into an accident and need a replacement you loose depreciation which could mean a large sum of that upfront money is wiped out

Good point! I was only playing with numbers and haven't actually signed anything or made a down-payment yet. I have driven the car and it looks like to get the exact specification that I am looking for, I may have to order it and wait..... I tend to keep my cars for a long time (current car is a bmw 525i - I have had it for 14 years). Assuming that I would end up buying this car, I think that buying it might be the right choice. And I can up my insurance to cover the gap in value so I get the full replacement price should anything disastrous happen.

Usually it is the lender/ lessor that provides GAP insurance. Most often it's automatically included provided you maintain the required amount levels of liability/ comprehensive/ collision insurance. GAP insurance typically isn't a product you can purchase from your existing auto insurance company as it is associated with the financial product you used to finance the car, not the car itself.

i'm not too impressed by these numbers. Think Alfa needs to push American buyers to get as many of these cars on the road as quickly as possible. Heard the Super Bowl will have an ALFA romeo ad as well........ Cars already at dealerships in Maryland (so i hear).

Still waiting patiently her in georgia

The lease terms on the website are interesting:

For well qualified lessees. Based on MSRP example of $40,990.00 with 22T package. Total due at lease signing includes a down payment and first month’s payment. Offer requires dealer contribution. Tax, title & license extra. Lessee pays for excess wear and mileage of $.50/mile for each mile over 10,000 miles per year, if vehicle is returned at end of term. Option to buy at lease end at pre-negotiated price. Dealer’s actual terms may vary. Offer through Chrysler Capital. Residency restrictions apply. Must take retail delivery by January 31. $395 disposition fee due at lease end.

The second to last line is the most interesting part in that these offers are only good till January 31, so these cars must be arriving very soon because that is not far away from today!!!

I think it's probably common practice for car companies to specify deals for each month separately. Most likely the same deal will show up on Feb 1st to last another month, and so on. The car will be supply-constrained for the first few month so I don't expect the deal to be sweetened any time soon, not until supply volume starts to pick up.

I can figure up a lease for you. Just PM me how much down and what term, also where you live for appropriate taxes. Also for anyone wanting to lease, anything over 39 months loses the incentivised money factor and kicks the payment up.

I agree it is a bit high. I TEST drove a TI today. Was very impressed. DYNAMIC mode had some kick to it. I've never owned a BMW or benz, but i loved this. Looking at website and leasing quotes, also feel it is a bit high. wondering what money factor and residual value will be....

The MSRP of my Ti was like 49850 or so. Traded in my old Audi A4 for 4K, put a couple k down, 10k miles a year, 36 months and mine is 499 a month, and I feel I may have been able to get that a little lower if I felt like haggling. Yours seems very high.

Quick math:

$50k minus $4k Audi minus $2k down payment = $44k

$44K minus (36 months x $499mo) = $26k

Throw the money factor at it and the car is roughly targeted for a 50% loss of value over 3 years and 30k miles.

Average residual of somewhere between $26k and $30k is my guess. How'd I do?

Leased my Giulia TI.
MSRP was 49750 or so.
Put down 5000 or so..
Comes out to 686 with taxes and all. Think taxes and fees in Ga comes out to $120 or so a month.
Did 15,000 miles 39 months.

Took forever though as mine was first lease they did!!! They also sold two TI's right before i got there. Maserati dealership said this was the busiest day they have ever had with customers coming in, and they said they were all there to see and test drive Giulias...

By time i was leaving 2.5 hours later (had to wait for sales people to close prior deals and test drive) it was dark and i was headed home!
Love my car.... Got pulled over by a cop, not for speeding but he wanted to know what i was driving. Car is gorgeous and handles incredibly well!

I should probably add that ideally I would be looking for something like this (built on the AR site):
Giulia Ti RWD
Ti 19" sport pkg
Ti performance pkg
Driver's assistance static pkg
Sunroof (could take it or leave it, but i imagine it'd be easier to find one with)
Sticker $45,440

43 @36 15k 3% bump on 10k. Messing w/ other banks tomorrow. Difficulty finding is not unusual, I could move 15-20 tomorrow if I could get them. Let me know what you want and I'll see what's available nationwide, I can view what's in transit as well as in stock.
