The car has gotten a lot less attention than I expected. It’s just a sedan? For my reserved personality type it’s a good thing. I can’t ever call it a sleeper with the styling and dinner-plate brakes, so it may indeed be a case of “I don’t know what that even is”.
I used to get a lot more attention when I first got my qv in 2018. Haven't gotten anything in years. Last time was at an auto x event in 22 when someone asked me about reliability lol

I think color matters somewhat. Not a color I don’t like but I’m 4 years into my 2021 QV in Ocra and while it used to be daily pictures and looks and full on stops in traffic (I am crappin’ you negative-hilarious story) to gawk at her, it has calmed down a little. But just yesterday, 3 separate people rolling down the window to tell me how pretty she is. But one lady in a merc a year ago, while I was in a turn lane, stopped for full 5 seconds and slowly crept by, mouth wide open, with a line of cars honking at her in the one open lane e to my right. Also, in my rearview mirror, I have caught 4 people grabbing the camera, and clearly taking a photo. I completely agree with them. I still take a pic in the parking garage at work now and then.

Same story when I bought mine. Although I bought my Vesuvio Gray '18 in 2022. It seemed like I received a bunch of compliments from strangers within the first few months of ownership then nothing after that.

I almost think of it like a trial subscription when buying a new car and the random compliments just come to an end when the "trial" expires lol.

What tires/sizes are you using for the winter?
Short answer, Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4.

So at the moment, I have all-season Michelin's on there, the pilot sport all season 4. I did that as we moved to Memphis recently and they should be good for a long time on crap roads and short drives to work. Should be fine for the summer and mild winters here. I have extra wheels for summer tires if I am now brave enough to drive a much longer distance to tracks than was necessary in Kansas City. I actually did a track day at Ozark International in April or May (bad memory) and they were fine,ds but my brain told me I would have been more confident on the Corsa's. Not sure I'm good enough to tell a difference, but I knew those corsas were sticky. I haven't ever changed sizes from the 245/35-19 front and 285/30-19 rear. When living in Kansas City, I used the stock Corsa for a couple track nights then they were done. Moved to Michelin Pilot Sport 4S for summer and used Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 in the winter. Plowing in KC is good in some areas and not in others. I knew where to go if it got too deep and where hills might be tough if I had to come to a complete stop. Strategy along with winter tires was necessary. With that, I didn't ever have trouble. I did have some moments when I wasn't sure I would get started back up on a hill when the front drive and all wheel drive cars were not struggling as much.

For those who are lazy, Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 are great for all year use if you drive in cold temps and rain but not necessarily snow.

Use my quad as the grocery-getter/family school bus just because its more fun. Had 2 kids in back and still room for a Costco/grocery run.

It's really quite a feat what the engineers did in terms of packaging the Giulia while being shorter than the CT4 or M3. More legroom and trunk space than a CT4, more trunk space than a CT5 despite it being 11" longer, similar rear legroom to a G80. The CT4 is really an embarrassment in terms of packaging/space.

182.5" long
35.1" rear legroom
13.4 cu ft trunk space

Cadillac CT4
187.2" long
33.4" rear legroom
10.7 cu ft trunk space

Cadillac CT5
193.8" long
37.9" rear legroom
11.9 cu ft trunk

BMW g80 M3
189.1" long
35.6" rear legroom
16.9 cu ft trunk

I first had the Corsas. And they were AMAZING tires but I had to drive them in the cold a bit and they were frightening at first, though they did well enough once warmed up.

I also have the Michelin PS All Season 4s, and they're extremely grippy on bad roads, so much so that I can barely get the back end out unless I drive like a complete lunatic.
they're great in cold and especially wet. Remains to be seen how they handle some Philly/NE snow.
My car is a daily family car that has to work from Virginia to New England in all weather, so I went with the All Seasons which will handle 95% of weather.
I'll stay home for the other 5%.
