bro. still waiting for your soln..

My bad

Anyone who purchased one of the Forza controllers probably just got an email from Steve about an error code. That was me, and I'm an idiot. The installer didn't close the hood all the way, and I guess the QV throws a handful of weird codes to let you know. I don't think it had anything to do with the controller install. I'm going to go back and have it installed on Thursday, so I'll let you guys know if everything goes well. I expect that it will. BTW, someone asked whether you need to lift the car to install this thing, and the answer is a hard yes. There's an aero shield covering the back 1/3 of the car that needs to slide off, and you'll want plenty of arm room to do so.
doing mine now, outside on the kerbside with driven onto a few scaffold planks to get some room under the car, problem is with siezed fixings and access to get to the upper side of the tray to soak in penetrating fluids..and get 9mm spanner on the far side to hold securely...had to take a rear wheel off to gain access too...so not so easy but doable..pay a garage 90mins lbr to do it on a hoist far easier!!

Forgive me if I missed it but did you write this up anywhere?
If you're referring to just plugging the lines, iirc someone already posted a video on it in one if the exhaust valve threads, though I can't remember which one sadly

Do you have instructions?
If you look on the forum or even YouTube, you can plug the vacuum lines to always keep the flaps open. I think there is a dedicated thread on it and maybe even a link to it in this thread

Question to those of you with the Forza. I've got the b3a (the model that only defaults to ecu default on start up) with remote that has only buttons A and B on it.

I searched on the Forza website and only found documentation for the b4a, and only for non turbo cars which has four buttons.

I believe A returns to ecu default valve operation and B opens the exhaust, but can someone please confirm for me?

Also does anyone know how to change the battery on the remote?

Get a squadra performance logger instead. Can control the exhaust flaps from inside the car as well as do performance logging, burnout mode, launch control, clear codes etc.
Can you leave the performance logger always plugged in, or does it drain your battery if you do?

I like (and have) the Forza since it doesn't require a device in the obdii by your knees. But then the squadra offers more features
