I would like to have some interior trim parts on my Giulia wrapped in cabon fibre - is there any info available on how to remove the centre console and the trim above the glovebox - all the usually parts that are carbon fibre on the QV.

Cheers
Paul.

You might want to see if you can buy parts out of a damaged Giulia Quadrifoglio, so that you can get solid carbon fiber parts that fit properly.

In the USA you can get the service manual from techauthority.com. I do not know if they have the service manual for an RHD Giulia.

Disclaimer: these are not the complete instructions and there is always a chance of scratching or breaking plastic bits when removing them.

For an LHD Giulia the trim around the shifter is relatively easily removed:

Snap out the coin holder in the storage box.
Pop the back of the shifter surround and the front of the storage box up together.
Remove the storage box, disconnecting the E-brake harness as you go (unclear if this is really necessary).
Snap the shifter surround out.

For an LHD Giulia the trim above the glove box is not so easily removed. Some important details have been dropped for clarity.

Unsnap cover at the front right of the drivers footwell.
(unclear why this is needed)
Unsnap cover at far right end of the dash board.
(unclear why this is needed)
Remove 4 screws, then snap out the glovebox
(the manual has a note about what to do with a cooled glove box?!)
(there is a sequence to this removal and there are at least 2 harnesses to loosen)
Remove the right side HVAC vent (unclear why this is necessary, maybe the right most corner of the trim is tucked underneath this vent?)
Remove 2 screws that secure the trim piece.
Snap the trim piece out.

Many thanks for the reply - I will give it a go and see how far I get.

Madness Autowork.

I would expect the carbon fibre overlay piece to fit better than it does - if you review the 3 picture within the slide show you can actually see part of the original centre console trim underneath the overlay https://madnessautoworks.com/image/...m/image/cache/data/Feroce/Alfa Romeo/Giulia/Center Console/AgCF-003-750x563.jpg - very poor considering the cost of these pieces + my giulia is RHD and your pieces are to suit a LHD.

Are you referring to the light flash on the right-hand side of the piece? that is just glare, not the factory trim.

We can get a set for RHD Giulias. Just let us know before hand that you infact have a RHD.
