This doesn't work well on our screens. I have messed around with the DPI using AAWireless, it does split the android screen but you STILL get the ugly 'Android Auto' Logo on the right. Effectively making this into 3 columns. Sorry!

Please go ahead and bug your support. Maybe the US customer service cares.

I've given up because I can't get past 1st level support over here...

we need somebody who knows how to get developer access to headunit OS/filesystem, possibly owner so motivated to spend enough time digging there to figure out what need to be changed to get rid of aa logo

Even if it had an ALFA logo rather than the AA logo it would be an improvement

yes, but I sniff that if we get as far as to change logo, then we will also be able to get widescreen

I would most definitely contribute to a fix for this for sure

I would so hapilly donate to this. I've got a late 2018 Stelvio 2.0 280 Milano Edizione and the android auto screen size is the only thing on the car that annoys me. So much that I have looked into how to clone a simcard in the UK so I can just get a second phone (iphone) and just use it for when I am in the car.

It's crazy that alfa just stopped caring about a car that is less than 3 years old because the facelift doesn't have the issue. The car is less that 3 years old but still they just refuse to support this with a simple software update which would utilize the full screen rather than the dumb logo which makes the nav more difficult to view.

I don't know, looks like a badly photoshopped stretched AA screen to me. Also, AA hasn't used that background for years.

It would be cool to get confirmation either way. If it does work, it would fix two of my issues with current system - lack of widescreen and lack of wireless AA.

Our Durango has the new Unconnect system with 10.1" screen - the wireless AA is a dream and it actually fill the entire screen lol

I just bit the bullet and bought an iPhone 13 partly to get full screen CarPlay. I wanted to share my experience and am finding it to be a big improvement over AA. I’ve been away from iOS using androids for 10 years, but Apple has come a long way. CarPlay seems to pop up on the Alfa screen right away and I haven’t had any connection issues. On AA, I’d often have to plug and replug multiple times. Also, the Apple Maps interface is pretty good and easier to use than google maps. The audio apps all have a consistent interface and are easy to figure out.

It's a real shame isn't it, that a supposed superior company like Google brings out second rate applications for users.
