Have you actually used those through an OH winter yet? I ask because it looks reasonable to expect those will let salty melt get to the carpet, where it then crystallizes into a white crust.
Of particular concern is slop running down the dead pedal and the absence of tub to prevent the grooves and channels from just dumping on the carpet.
Tubbed mats are the minimum for me, but I do really like my floor liners which offer front and rear full coverage (up the walls and over the rear hump) which I got on eBay from a China-direct supplier for $85, delivered. They are quilted padded vinyl, like a synthetic leather. They’re nice, but I take them out in the summer; Madness (and others) offer better quality sets which look good enough to probably keep in all the time. Actually, I got a set of the same ones I have for my partner’s Stelvio, with red stitching to match her red interior, and she leaves the eBay cheapies in year round, so it’s just a matter of taste and preference.
