Some folks have had 255 rub, some not. The tire*, lowering, offset, and spacers all make a difference as does the exact shape of the somewhat floppy wheel liner. IIRC
@Call me Al tried 265 with stock body work, wheels, but lowered and had nasty rub issues that nearly took out a major wiring harness.
@Racer Z had 255 on all four corners of his 4 cylinder, all mounted on 19x9 5 holes (rear wheels from a staggered 4 cylinder). I have no idea if those wheels will clear front QV calipers.
* actual tread width from model to model for the same size may vary as much as 15mm.
