Has anyone run 245/35R19 on their 8" square Giulia wheels?

I want something a bit "fuller" than the stock tire, which always looked stretched out to the wheel edges. 245/35R19 is the closest diameter wide tire I can find, so that the speedo error is minimal. 26.1" diameter for the OE size vs 25.8" for 245/35.

Hmmm, I just paid twice that for 245 35R19. OTOH, do you really trust Walmart to mount and balance your low profile tires properly? These are mounted on 19x8.5 wheels.

I have 245 40R19 winter tires on my 5 hole 19x8 OEM wheels. Combined with the "read high" bias on the speedo, they make my speedo read correctly. Please beware that a little tire stretch is good for handling. I have not tried PS A/S 3+ in this size, but I can say that Nokian R3 tires in this size on dry pavement are not good. They are however, amazing on snow and ice but of course driving snow and ice is all about traction rather than handling, at least at my skill level.

One more thing to note: Michelin PS A/S 3+ 245 35R19 tires have about 30-35mm more tread than the Pirelli Cinturato P7 RFT in 225 40R19.

To the $173.33/ea, please remember to add either the $120 tow fee (unless you are subscribed to AAA) next time when you have a flat tire, or the $30 WalMart flat tire repair kit or a $173.33 spare tire in the trunk (with the jack and the tools). I liked my last flat tire experience with the Pirelli Cinturato P7 RFT. The TPM showed the problem on the dash, slowed down to 50MPH, drove to the closest Discount Tire shop and they repaired the tire for free.

Lots of cars now come with no spare or kit in the car to repair. RFT are offered as a marketing to make you feel better and safer as a consumer. RFT are crap. I put on the Michelin's and its a whole new car. Put a tire plug kit, slime can that is good with TPMS and a 12v compressor and you will be just fine. DISCLAIMER "THIS IS JUST MY OPINION"
