Seat memory adjustment while driving

Hi guys,

I am using the memory seat buttons as a work around when parking because the side mirror don't auto dip. (I have dipped mirrors set as memory seat 3)

The problem I find is that when leaving the car park I need to be close to stationary to change the seat memory/mirrors back to memory position 1. Not very practical to basically have to stop when exiting the carpark. Is there a way of changing the car setting so the seat memory buttons work at higher speeds?

The car’s speed needs to be less than approx. 10km/h for the seat memory function to work. You get used to it for parking….

You wouldn't want to accidentally hit a memory setting that brings you really far back while driving. That could be dangerous.

You'll get used to it.

I have engrained this in my brain ..well sort of;

Select seat setting 3 when parking close to the kerb
Select seat setting 1 as soon as I finish parking but before I stop the engine
Return to car and press start

Very useful suggestion thanks.

I also have 2 set for when I have for when someone is sitting behind me to give them more leg room. I'm 6ft 2 so in my normal driving position no-one would really fit behind.
