Rough idle cold

Mobile1 0w30 AFE SN, SN+, SP, and GF6 rated, did it with whatever the dealer used before I bought it and with Penn Euro 0w30 so never looked it as an oil issue, I have the free version of ECU but no cable kit.
Reference the Mobile 1 filter autopsy found in the forums here (by @JeFizz ?) and then get that thing off of your car! IIRC it was the only filter that was a total and obvious fail. There is a non-trivial chance that is the (a?) source for your problems. I switched to Mopar Pro+ SP rated oil and that made the engine happier (less noise). Be sure to use 0W-30 for starting in the cold, not 5W-30 that many people flag as "just as good".

Definitely 0w30 only, never heard of a mobile 1 filter being bad but it's all I've used and it did it with the oem one that was on there also. Next change I'll switch and see if it makes a difference. What failed with it?
When it was cut open there were large gaps in the filter media -> it would not filter anything. IIRC a second filter was purchased and cut open and it was no better.
No defects were visible without cutting the filter open. New filters were tested.

Napa branded and Mopar branded filters seemed to have the best construction.

IMO, Mopar oil + mopar filter is the way to go with this engine.

Filter is easy to find, that new version of the oil that's SP and GF6 not so much, even the Alfa dealer near me uses Pennzoil in all the cars. Mobile1 0w30 AFE meets all the specs and 6 qts is less than $35. Who makes Mopar's oil? other dealers I called use Mobile1 when they run out of MaxPro
I do not know who makes Mopar Maxpro+ oil. Buying the same brand with a different label does not ensure the same oil.
I just mail order it. It is available from both Centerline and Alfissimo, maybe others. It is closer to $70 for 6 quarts; usually sold as a kit including a filter for $90-100.
I think Jeep dealers carry Mopar Maxpro+, but it may be 5W-30.
