I want for this to not happen at all. Daughter will be going to school 2-2.5 hours away next August and don't need any of us to worry lol. If it does happen again, I will swap 1 and 2 spark plugs to see if it follows.
My car did it again this morning as temps dipped below 40F overnight. Again it was a misfire on cylinder 1, so I'm going to try to swap the coil packs. Have you had a chance to swap your plugs yet?

Unfortunately I just moved and travel out of country this weekend, so who knows when I'll have the time.

Take the #1 plug and swap it with the #3 plug and take the #1 coil and swap it with #2 coil .
if the misfire moves you will know if it's the coil or the plug depending on where it moves to and if it doesn't, you have ruled out both parts at the same time

Clever, I'll try this. I'm only 15k miles past the plugs change so I suspect the packs more than the plugs, but the double check is good.

Hasn't happened again...yet.

That's good, but mine's getting more frequent. It was actually cylinder 3 this morning, as well as P1069 which includes the multi-air control which might be the oil quality or dirt. I'm going to try an oil change and see if it has an impact.
Only been a few starts so far, but in extremely cold weather. No startup misfires or codes yet, so looking good. Our cars sure are picky about oil, huh?
