I saw the great thread on 0-60 times and in other forums we had cool drag time databases so I thought I'd make one thread where we can see acceleration data.

Here is a link to the database....

Submit your times. If they are at a track or via dragy, they'll be accepted. Lets get a good database going.

Format for Submission. Complete all parts of the entry you have. If you only got a 1/8 mile time, thats fine just only put that data. If only 40-100mph, thats cool too. Just only put that data.

Driver: Your user ID
Car: QV or 4 Cylinder
Drive: RWD/AWD
Fuel: 91, 93, E30, E85, 100, 104
Density Altitude: you find this on the dragy slip or if you were at a track you use dragtimes DA calculator
60ft:
1/8 Mile ET:
1/8 Mile Trap Speed:
1/4 Mile ET:
1/4 Mile Trap Speed:
40-100mph:
0-130mph:
60-130mph:

If modified include:
Turbo:
Tune:
Intake:
Downpipe:
Exhaust:

Cooling:

Last, thing is post a photo of your timeslip or dragy slip with your post.

Example:

Driver: bhvrdr
Car: 4 cylinder
Drive: RWD
Density Altitude: +940
60ft: 2.06
1/8 Mile ET: 8.68
1/8 Mile Trap Speed: 81.69
1/4 Mile ET: 13.49
1/4 Mile Trap Speed: 102.18
40-100mph:
0-130mph:
60-130mph: 19.48

All the runs from the fastest to slowest (no boost launch). Had fun trying to figure the launch tho. Next time less gas and no cooler in the trunk will probably help lol. I was 44, and the less then 100 mph ones are when I was giving rides to people.

First attempt this year on summer tires, unfortunately full tank and not perfect weather conditions (wind blowing in all directions like crazy). Recently I have checked weight of my car (after modifying custom active exhaust to full 3" and conversion to 2.5" at the end)..heavy beast.. circa 3925lbs with driver and full tank😑 not sure if it's due to DA but trap speed for 1/4 mile lower more than 1mph for my best 105.68 (at that time DA was -514ft)

Yes, seems to being bit slower comparing to previous winter runs, but I was bit shocked about weight of my car...it is too much 😀 Anyway I think for that overall weight plus weather conditions 4.60s and 13.06s is not that bad. Can't launch easily with my Q4 and tires above 2600rpm. I have seen here some guys having 1.7x in 60ft. After upcoming track event soon, maybe I will finish my GY Assymetric Eagle 3 and will convert to some Michelin PS

I forgot to launch it with Race Mode ;/ I believe when I'm trying to launch with Dynamic then once any tire is losing a grip then ECU/ESP is cutting power/torque I believe so, right @bhvrdr ??
Do you have dual map both on D and Race?

In that way maybe I would be able to launch higher with small slide but at least with full power, @Alfa Philly is that a case for your QV, too??

#1,007 ·
I am just rwd so i am limited to about 2k rpm launches or in D mode ill get power cut and in race mode ill get wheel hop. Either way its a screwed run.

With awd id bet you could get a top 60 foot in either mode. We dont have enough power to be spinning all 4 wheels to the point of power cut. But yeah with awd might as well do it in race mode in case you do get that tiny bit of spin off the line. That's much much better than bogging

An EC sighting!!! What ever happened to them getting some info and times on the QV tuning. I remember a thread about a year ago about them gathering data and testing. Something that one employees was using his own car for testing or something

They did this one a year ago and it was a trainwreck.

Had no idea how heat exchangers work...

...then posted ec p1 tuned 40-100 and 1/4 mile traps that were slower than my bone stock stelvio. Then there was the hope that a ec p2 would be that much faster.... but nothing materialized.

Then this guy does some hardcore proper data gathering on his stock truck going to ec p2 and picked up 1.5mph in trap.

Its not the best showing of 390hp but what can you do ..

@bhvrdr at the beginning of my "box tuning journey" before remapping with Celtic I tried this two times (after first attempt I send them back this and they send me improved version):
Chip tuning box Alfa Romeo Giulia 2.0 280 hp 400 Nm | P-Tronic (ptronic.com)
They even send me some chart from their dyno measurement as "proof" :) but I went to real, local dyno and it shows sh*t instead of improvements - around 290ps which I think was due to Ragazzon exhaust and not by box itself, but on their webpage they have claimed +340HP and over 500Nm :D...I was so naive at that time ;)

Not sure if box can give +30HP extra in Giulia 2.0T 280HP, but I remember in the past when I tried RaceChip in my Astra J OPC (stock 280HP/400Nm) then I could feel a difference

PS I would like to get to know about that ..Stelvio there :)

@bhvrdr
Seems like my best 40-100 mph was not updated.
I'v got a 9.24s (Racebox Pro) or if that's not accepted 9.33s (Dragy)

Sorry about that :( I think i was waiting on DA data and forgot.

Post 1 updated:

If you can grab DA data in the future it will be helpful. DA has such a large and predictable impact on power output that the NHRA even has correction factors for it which is great if we want to compare runs for folks.

Thanks!

Great data.

Would you mind going on dragy and changing units to standard so i can perhaps add 60-130mph data?

Rwd is hard. You have one of the top stock turbo trap speeds!

Great time. That's ~3.50s over my 320hp by Celtic tuning and stock turbo.

In DA -2000 that will rock

Nah. Itll put down on a dyno whatever we want it to put down. One dyno 280whp another dyno 380whp. One session on same dyno 300whp, another session 350whp.

We know the power output so much better from logs trap speeds and acceleration data.

Happy to add a squadra time to the board!!!

And plenty competitive with all the others. Nice work fast4lfa...

The second screenshot says "1ft rollout on". Dragy can only account for 1ft rollout in 0-60MPH (the bottom line in details), all other measurements are without the rollout.

In order to align the results to Dragy you have to add roughly 0.3 seconds (e.g. on my car I had Dragy report 0-60MPH at 4.70s without rollout and 4.43s with it).
