I recently took possession of a brand new 2022 Giulia. On my drive home I realized there was no sound coming out of the speakers regardless of media type. There is also no sound coming for park assist or other functions. The car is essentially mute! I took the car for the dealer and they tried to run a few resets, I made sure the battery is charged, they poked around with it for a couple of weeks and got to the amp and came back saying that all the signal and systems are working but they don’t know why there was no sound. After some escalation, they came back saying that regional tech support asked them to order a new head unit. Based on your expert opinion? Does this sound right? It still feels like a trial and error thing!l it feels like the teams are incompetent to deal with this issue. I’m worried it would be weeks until the get the head unit only to find out it’s not what’s at fault!
Any technical suggestions are appreciated
