I have to say this company has the worst customer service I have seen, and YES I AM PUTTING THEM ON BLAST! I ordered a set of floor mats of the 2024 Tonale which i was like ok Great someone finally has them in stock since Mopar is on backorder. Package comes in, and gess what the wrong mats were sent. They were for the Stelvio. Ok, mistakes happen, took a couple of e-mails and finally a Manager reached out to me. He asked me to take some pictures and he would follow up. After a couple of more days he approved for the mays to be returned and he would get the new set out. The mats were delivered to Madness on Jan 25th. I asked him for pics of the correct mats to make sure they were the right one before he sent them and he said that he would get them over the following morning. Jan 26- up until today February 5th, no more communication, sent several e-mails and nothing. I should not have to go through this whole process to get the correct mats back to me. Even just some communication would have been ok. At this point I don't even want the mats anymore, I just want my money back and I will order them else where. I have disputed the charges on my credit card and I will not be ordering from Madness Auto works again!

Since this is a web forum and any odd idiot can chime in (me being the idiot in this case) on a thread, I’ve had dealings with both companies (to the tune of several thousand dollars) and have had a positive experience with both. I’ve never had to return or exchange anything so from that perspective I have no experience.

Ok let do something here. I would like to let my fellow auto enthusiasts decide this . I will present my thoughts and if the overall consensus is that I’m am being unreasonable (my original comments online that you had censored on other forums) I will update all posts and wipe the comments everywhere. I purchased a set of window door switch covers in carbon fiber from madness auto for a Maserati ghibli that has four doors. I also have bought these covers for my alfa Romeo giulia and Stelvio and it’s pretty much a given that a set includes four doors .
I did not see anything on the listing that indicated only two covers came with the set other than the two pictured in the listing but assumed four were included since there was no other option to purchase the two rear door covers separately.
I also read the title of the listing indicating that it’s a set for the ghibli and the ghibli has four doors . And four is what you commonly see for sale everywhere.

On my order notes I asked if four were included, I again mentioned it somewhere among the line either in an email or phone but can’t nail it down where but your just gonna have to take my word for it .

My beef here is that i don’t find it unreasonable for me to assume that this set should have come with four pieces.

Here are the pictures of the item .

The other item of concern here is how unprofessional madness has handled this minor issue. You guys have spent so much time in this that it just brings your business sense to question. I could imagine it spent some real money with you guys. I have made some considerable purchases with alfissimo and burger motors and extremely good after sales support and just surprised at how poorly you guys have handled this it’s ridiculous. You have chased down other forums that I have been on due to owning minis , Maserati and Alfas .

So fellow auto enthusiasts let me know your verdict.

Just my $.02

You indicate there’s a picture attached, but I don’t see one.-Edit: sorry, had to refresh the page.

“Caveat Emptor”

You use the word “assume” multiple times. I think we all know that story. While the ad may not have been clear, you do seem to have made an assumption. One thing I’ve learned in life is if I’m not sure, ask. A phone call or email might have avoided this whole issue. I’ve reached out to both vendors (and others) on multiple occasions to ask for clarification before the hit the “Buy” button. Thats just me. That being said, it always takes 2 to tango.

Additionally, for a number of aesthetic things like the cf bits, I’ll try the cheap ones from Amazon first to make sure I like them on the car. I can always easily rerun and get a refund (or just toss) for them before I buy the more expensive bits.

The rest of the tit for tat on multiple boards/forums isn’t something I’m going to adress, mostly because I’m too lazy to go find the relevant info and follow the drama.

You keep mentioning about this "Minor issue" yet you have made it into something major by creating accounts on several forum, digging up threads from a decade ago, all with the intent to bash our company.

We did not chase you down on other forums, we are active on 15 different boards and saw the accounts that were created last week.

You guys just added that to the bottom of the page that’s new that wasn’t there before you guys are really slimy. There is a thing that’s called a screenshot of webpages online. You can’t change it. It’s recorded online. How about we look that up and see if you did change that.

You guys made a change of this website around August to add that after my situation came up there’s a thing called the Wayback machine and it takes pictures of websites and what they have and what changes they made. Here’s a before and after you guys really are sneaky.
Below March way back screen shot after that one is your new one.

I don’t know, maybe posting a picture of an item after you change the description on it, trying to insinuate that your customer was not reading it correctly. I don’t know. I find that to be the definition of kind of sleazy and deceptive to be honest.
Look the point here is that your customer was not satisfied with the purchase and there was room for a reasonable assumption on my part and I did some due diligence but not enough. As a business you probably made the wrong call here obviously. You further added to the problem by trying to silence your customer on the forums (way more trouble than just fixing the issue) . Lastly you tried deceiving the forum by posting the picture of the item after you altered the item and then admitting to doing so. If anyone here on this forum knows the ceo of madness please do the guy a favor and let him know how his online team is doing. I can’t imagine that if the owner of this business was on here this would be handled so bad. I am done . By the way if I get a handful of forum followers honestly think I was unreasonable here please let me know I truly am interested.
