Well, I have officially received leasing info from one dealer here in LA. I believe this is the TI, but they didn't list as such so maybe it is just the base model. MSRP of 40,590, 48 months @ 579 with 1999 down (taxes and fees not included). This sounds a bit steep to me. But maybe I shouldn't be surprised since they told me they have a 10k markup on the QV but would lease for 48 months with 15K down at $1400 a month (which is insane). Any one else received any info yet?

I second that. You should be getting at least $2500 off MSRP *before* the incentives are applied. I say 'at least' that much off because your dealer can go there very easily without the sales manager having to squeeze his sphincter. The fact that they are not and may let you walk means that they quite possibly don't want your business.

It's not you, it's them. Try buying a car from a dealer within a 100-200 mile radius. Get some numbers. It always helps to go into Dealer 'A' and tell them you're about to do a deal with Dealer 'B'. The competition sometimes gets them to move off of their positions.

2017 Giulia lease in FL

How does this sound in Florida?
$46,390 sticker
sales price of $44,257
Rebates of $3,750.
Zero down / $584.94 per month less tax X 36 months / 12,000 miles per year / registration, tags etc. included

#218 ·
That is a solid deal. 1.12% of MSRP, by my math. If it was me, I would tell them you only want to pay $1000 out of pocket, roll the rest into the payment. But that is personal preference. If the car gets totaled or stolen early on in the lease, the lease obligation goes away, but you eat that down payment.

$2125 / 24 months = $88, added to the $450 makes it roughly $538.

Picking up mine tomorrow.

MSRP $53,385
24 months/10k miles
$2,500 out of pocket (1st payment, registration, dealer fee, acquisition fee, and a bit extra)
$512/month before sales tax, $544 with 6.25% sales tax

It looks like I got one of the few, although I haven't seen any others, stromboli grey with the 19" sport package. They've since discounted that combination.

I couldn't get the Ti in Rosso red within my price range.
Here is the deal for my RWD model with 22L package 18" turbine wheels:

$42,000 msrp
$39,000 sale price
$3,000 due at signing
24 month lease / 10k a year
$419 monthly payments
*** I still think I could have gotten much closer to $400 a month :-/

I got the same deal from Aaron at Alfa Romeo of Glendale. He took really good care of me. Aaron got me in and out real quick and was able to work the numbers over the phone. Aaron even walked me through the car and made sure I knew how everything worked before I drove off the lot. I would recommend him to everyone who would want to get in and out quick while recieving great customer service.

I come up with the same number. If that is for the lower tier credit, that is a solid deal, closer to 1.12% or so before they whack you. If you think you've taken them as far as they will go, lease with confidence.

#239 ·
You're close, 1.21% by my math. 1% is hard to get. I think anything under 1.2% is a fair deal for a Giulia, unless you can get to that Glendale dealership. See if you can get them down another 20 bucks. If they won't budge, you can take that deal knowing you didn't get hosed but they didn't exactly gift wrap you anything, either. You will still drive it with a smile on your face.

What are the Lease specials for the QV? I dont think i caught one looking through all the pages in this thread.

Hi all,
New to the forum. I just received my quote and have some questions:

First of all here is my quote:
MSRP: $48,440
Dealer Selling Price: $43,742
Plus Additional Rebates: $4500
24 Month Lease
10K miles per year
$2000 total due at signing
$509 per month

The lease includes all additional taxes and fees:
1st Month Payment: $509
Bank Acquistion Fee: $595
Dealer Documentation Fee: $799.75
NY Motor Vehicle Fees: $350
NY Taxes: $1,374.11
Total Fees: $3,627.86

Question:
Do you think the number of the additional fees look ok? They seem a lot to me.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts in advance!

#244 ·
Those fees seems standard for Alfa.

By my calculations, your prorated lease payment for 10k miles a year is about 1.19% of MSRP. You are in the range of what I would deem is fair on a Giulia (1.2% or less). You could try to squeeze them for another 20 bucks less a month for the same terms, but even if you can't that is not a bad deal.

Here is a quote I received on a standard Giulia AWD with Cold Weather, static assist, and 18s. It seems fairly in line with the deals I have seen posted here. I am located in the North East- Maine specifically. I was hoping to get them to budge a bit more on the over all cap cost This quote is from a MA based dealer:

24mo/10k Mi
MSRP: $43,290
Rebates: $5,500
Dealer Discount: $2672
Cap Cost: $35,118
Sales Tax: $1381.80 (anyone smarter than me able to figure if this is a MA or ME value? Not sure the sales persons on the ball)
Dealer/State Fees: $524
Total Price: 37,023.80

Monthly @ $0 down: $456.99

Thanks Dr. Klopek - you're a gentleman and a scholar.

That's a hot deal from that PA outfit- I have put the feelers out there.... we'll see...

Now if I could just sell my Subaru and get this ball rolling! Fingers crossed september's incentives remain this attractive...

Contacted a dealer in Northern Cali and they told me they have Lease offers for the QV they have. The sales rep sent me this and its pretty vauge. I asked for a breakdown of any incentives MSRP etc. I haven't heard back..

2017 Alfa QV
Vesuvio Gray
CF racing seats
Dark Tenico Wheels
Harmon Kardon System
Yellow calipers

36 months, 10,000 miles per year
$7,878 total due at signing
$1,642.53 plus tax
$34,647.80 residual value

I also thought the residual was really Low on an 80k+ car.. am I missing something?. **** I thought my 07 Vovlo S60R when I had it depreciated faster than the sinking of the Titanic... it was like 7500-7800 a Year.. it was a sad day when I sold it. I was able to get enough for two tickets to go see Capt America Civil war lol

Hi everyone, could I get some insight on this deal? This is in Texas

2017 Giulia AWD
MSRP - $41490
Deal - $36873
I'm getting a tax credit, making tax at 1.5%
12k miles for 36 months...50% residual
0 down
$537

How does this stack up? I've asked them what money factor they're using, but when i initially asked they said the APR was 2.15%

Also, I've noticed many people only lease for 24 months. Any particular reason?

Thank you so much in advance

#260 ·
People lease for 24 because of the lower MF and higher residual, MF comes out to 0.6% basically.

They aren't doing you any favors on that deal. Do you qualify for the conquest offer? Basically... do you own any non-FCA car.

A "good deal" is around 1% of MSRP. So in this case, you'd want to shoot for $415 a month or lower. But if you love the car and HAVE to have it, go for it. Personally I think AR is hurting baddddddd for sales, so you can push them harder to make a deal. Contact multiple dealers, aim for 18-19% off total.

#262 ·
Head over to leasehackr.com and join up there. There is a pretty big guilia lease thread going on discussing those points.

I personally think shooting for 18-19% off MSRP overall (with incentives and more rolled in) is perfectly reasonable. Right now you are at 12% off. At least in August the total with a $2750 conquest was $3750 in rebates ($1000 lease or buy cash from AR to the dealer), I am not 100% certain that lease cash is still there, but I think it is. So if you assume the dealer is getting $3750 from AR, they are discounting the car a measly $867 for you at the current offer (or 2% off for them). People in CA and the east coast last month were eligible for an additional $750 rebate.

Here's an example of the terms a dealer in PA gave me for a $46K Alfa: https://tinyurl.com/y7tjcer3

And here's where I'm aiming to end up: https://tinyurl.com/y9ax3wz7

The dealer in PA was offering 10% off MSRP right off the bat before incentives, so if I got them to go to 15-16% off MSRP before incentives, it'd push the payment down by over $100. Small percentages make big differences. The question is how badly do they want to move their inventory. I imagine Alfa is offering dealer incentives for sales goals met before October because this dealer was asking "what can I do to close a deal before october". So they might take a small loss on a sale to hit a sales target to get a large bonus from AR later.

#263 ·
I don't think we're that desperate at this point, given that 3 texas area dealers have over a dozen 2017 giulias each. If the 2018s are really on the horizon and set to deliver in October it may be best for me to just sit tight and wait for them to come back to me.

I countered a dealer in Houston on a white Giulia with MSRP of $42440 with $35,000 and they turned me down. I said thanks for your time and walked away. I'm still waiting on San Antonio and Austin to get back to me, so maybe one of them will be sharper. The lease deal i mentioned on my first post was from Austin

You should look into getting a FCA affiliate discount throught AccessFund or Treadlightly...join them and you'll qualify for the FCA discount which is usually 1% below invoice, plus any incentives/rebates like the non-FCA vehicle bonus.
Got my Sport Ti over the weekend at Music City Motors in Nashville via 3hr drive for about $42K (MSRP 49.4K)
I agree with MConte05 about expanding your search area because some dealers are more willing to deal. My last car we drive 6hrs to Indianapolis because it was such a good deal.
