Well, I have officially received leasing info from one dealer here in LA. I believe this is the TI, but they didn't list as such so maybe it is just the base model. MSRP of 40,590, 48 months @ 579 with 1999 down (taxes and fees not included). This sounds a bit steep to me. But maybe I shouldn't be surprised since they told me they have a 10k markup on the QV but would lease for 48 months with 15K down at $1400 a month (which is insane). Any one else received any info yet?

If you prorate that deal it comes to 424 a month pre tax with zero down, which is pretty good. But once you go to the dealer you can't get that. Classic bait and switch. They tell you that is based on a bare bones MSRP, with all possible incentives thrown in, only for people born on a leap year, etc. And then quote you $100+ more a month for an actual car on the lot.

Best deal my auto broker buddy can get me as of today with July numbers is $470/month tax inc, 39/10, $1,000 total out of pocket on a $40,300 MSRP. Not the best deal compared to others on here, but it seems like the best I will get in Florida so I am probably going to take it.

Over the past few days I've done a lot of sleuthing and it looks like some of the incentives are location specific.

The $2750 conquest and $1000 lease cash are national per Alfa's website.

However, in PA and NJ I've found the following on dealer websites:
Morristown NJ additional $750 conquest for owners of competing premium brands (MB, BMW , AUDI, Acura, Lexus).
Another close by suburban NJ a dealer listed $500 cash back (not sure if this is in addition to the $750 conquest)

Pittsburgh, PA competitor brand conquest is only $250.

So total incentives seem to vary from $4000 to $5000.

Residuals are down this month but with lower money factor (except for the base RWD which is .001).

I think the trick to getting a reasonable lease is going to get squeeze a significant discount on the sales price (before incentives) from the dealer.

I feel like Labor Day sales will beat everything they have now and will have in the future. At that point they have to move the inventory.
Also, before you pull the trigger on that deal you should get on Truecar.com or Costco Automotive and see what comes up there. That's how I got my deal. There may be a dealer down in Miami that will give you a better deal.

If you are leasing, first negotiate the vehicle price, same as buying. I don't even tell them if I am buying or leasing. I just negotiate the price of vehicle and go from there. Hop on dealer inventory on website and price out a certain vehicle via the VIN.

Know what price you should be getting going in (get a truecar certificate, they have to honor it) and make sure you have it all worked out on lease hacker or similar before going in. Unless you know leasing and car buying like an expert, they are screwing you every time you go in there unless you get a Costco or Truecar deal and stay on that vehicle no matter what. They will do all they can to get you into different vehicle so they can bone you. They have to honor the Truecar or Costco deal, which will include all incentives.

By the way, you also want to go in there on the last day of the month an hour before they close. That gives you huge leverage. I would target August 31, right before Labor Day. That's how I did mine. Truecar deal Friday June 30th weekend of big sales event.

I tried that last month. No give. The incentive deals seem to vary from state to state. Only a few of the incentives are national. I have gone in person and my broker buddy has looked all over south Florida for me and showed me the numbers. They just aren't dealing. It's possible things could change, but for now it's take it or leave it.

There is conquest cash available from FCA. I just picked up my special order Ti yesterday and got more than 10% discount for a cash deal. There was an additional $1,000 for a 36/12k lease which nearly covered the lease interest. This takes the sting out of buying a 2017 late in the model year.

Curious what kind of lease deals buyers in So Cal have been getting this month?

Best I can find for the spec I want (Rwd 2.0 base with the two sport packs-so MSRP of about $41k) is mid-to-high $400 per month for 12k a year, with all taxes included, and the $3999 they all seem to want down divided by 24 months.

I live in Los Angeles and did my lease via Alfa Fiat Glendale. My MSRP was 41,950 or thereabouts. I got about $5700 or so off MSRP and did lease based on that. I paid out the door $1000 which was basically tag, title and first month. 12k/miles per year 24 months. $392/month including tax (tax has since gone up by a bit in LA Ccounty). I added the wear n tear which includes 2000 more miles (.20 per mile, plan gives you $400 towards miles overage), and damage / wear n tear up to $5000. That was $795. So that put my monthly up to $426 including tax.

Thanks, DharmaRide

Got the same exact deal and price from Rodrigo at Glendale on Saturday. Thanks again for doing the hard work. The car is awesome and performs like a dream. Hope I don't experience the dreaded "limp mode" that everyone is talking about. I skipped the lease ware and tear insurance option.

Looks like everyone is getting great deals from Rodrigo at Glendale. I am planning to meet himself but wanted to know what everyones MSRP was to be in the low 400s and low drive off (12/24). Is everyone similar to Dharma at 41k? I am looking at something more along the lines of a 46k car.

Thank you :)

You should be getting at least $5500 off MSRP. I would suggest jumping on to Truecar and getting a certificate from Glendale. That's what I did. My brothers both sell cars and told me that's the best way to go.

Congratulations!!! I ended up at right around $35k on a $42k car, so you did even better than I did. They all have too much inventory and with the not so great press, they need to start cutting some serious deals. '18s rolling in soon.

I was one of 6 people that bought a Giulia from Glendale Alfa Romeo on Saturday. I was working with Santa Monica Alfa but Rick the sales Manager and Dimaya the sales person blew SM best deal out of the water. I ended up getting a pretty loaded TI with the 19" wheel sport package, TI performance package, Harman Kardon, and both drivers assist packages. 2 year lease, $499 a month with a $1500 drive off. Total about 9k off MSRP including $3750 incentive. I was happy with the deal. Rick and Dimaya were great to work with and made it one of the easiest car buying/leasing deals ever for me.

Leasing rates

I got 10K per year and Vesuvio Gray/Black. Took it up to Mulholland Drive tonight...very impressed by its handling. Really flat, but the rear doesn't like rough pavement, steps out of the groove a little. Also own a 84 Carrera track car and a stock GT3. The Alfa is very comparable to the 84 Carrera.

Hi all - kind greetings to all the participants in this online community who have kept each other and observers informed. I've relied greatly on your expertise and guidance in my decision to get a Giulia, and from where to get a Giulia : )

I am also one of the new Giulia owners who took delivery at Glendale over the weekend. Rodrigo and Rick were top notch! Beyond the appealing lease numbers, the depth of information and level of professionalism from Rodrigo during the vehicle demonstration, was just outstanding and set Glendale far and above the completion up and down the California coast! It also far surpassed my experience with unknowedgeable sales staff at Jag dealers across LA and OC last year...

Rodrigo takes great pride in the quality of his work and the customer experience at Glendale, and I was constantly surprised by the wealth of tips around the operation of Giulia. He has studied the enthusiasts forums, and is well apprised on what issues and quirks owners have reported around the initial wave of US deliveries, and is professionalism personified when it came to imparting tips and tricks to improve my ownership experience. I would pay a price premium on my next Alfa just to take delivery from Rodrigo!

As for numbers, I'd hate to get anyone at Glendale in trouble, so please feel free to PM me for the precise monthly #s. I had the pleasure of driving this beauty off the lot:

Alfa white RWD Ti with 19' Performance package, sunroof, static assist, and 8.8 screen
- 24 months
- 12k miles
- $3100 walk off
- High $300's monthly.

I'd recommend anyone on the West Coast looking for a Giulia to work with Rick's team at Glendale. I drove down from the Bay Area, and am very glad to have worked with Rodrigo. The only regret I have was wasting time contacting other dealers and getting a go-around (especially those hoods at Van Nuys), when I should have just straight bee-lined for Rick and Rodrigo at Glendale as soon as I decided to dump my Jag XE v6 for a Giulia. Bravo to the Glendale team!

$4k off doesn't seem enough. You should get nearly that much in rebates. And then some more to get the MSRP to a market price. All the LA dealers I talked to quoted me more than that off MSRP. As others have said, Rodrigo had the best offer by far.

gary33 - that's an outstanding offer. Have you had a chance to inspect the vehicle in person, and take it for a test drive?

If it's all good in the flesh, I'd go for that in a heartbeat. Getting any monthly payment < 1.15% of the MSRP is generally good for summer deals, with 12,000 miles.

The lowest monthly payment (tax included) to MSRP ratio I've personally received on a Giulia offer is 1.03% from Berkeley FIAT, on a base white Giulia with only dark 7-hole wheels and sunroof as the options. I was very close to signing before I noticed a long, gaping paint scar on the driver-side rear view mirror cover.

The finance guy at Berkeley FIAT was shockingly abrasive when I told them I'm not taking delivery with a pending due bill. After nobody from the sales staff followed up the next day, I expanded my search to SoCal and was very glad to have to found Rodrigo and Rick at Glendale in LA, based on the recommendation of fellow forum members. While the Ti I ultimately took delivery of wasn't as good of a deal judging by the 1%barometer, I am much happier to have splurged on more creature comforts.

gary33, based on your MSRP, I'm assuming it's a Ti equipped with the upgraded seats? If there's no damages, and all of the features are working, I'd say go for it! That may be the best deal we've come across, especially on a Ti!

I'm considering the following deal:

Base AWD
Sport appearance and sport interior packages
Cold weather package
8.0 screen upgrade

Alfa Rosso over Black

MSRP $44,040
Monthly $419 + tax w/ $0 down
Drive off (1st, security, license etc.).

This is from the nearest dealer to me 1:45 minutes

thoughts?
