Let's get a group of Alfas to this next cars and coffee! For those that haven't been, it's massive.

I imagine that's their record turnout, but it's a very impressive number any time.

Details:
West Town Mall, 7600 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919
April 23, 2023. 8-11AM, but the good stuff starts rolling out by 9:30 and the decent spots in the lot are filled by 6AM.

Pre-meet: 6:00AM, Parking lot behind LeConte Title, whose address is 302 Montvue Rd NW, Knoxville, TN 37919

Property Map Land lot Urban design Residential area

I would suggest getting off at Gallaher View and coming up Gleason Dr NW to avoid traffic on Kingston Pike which is always a total mess even at this hour. Then we can just pop out on Montvue and a few hundred yards to the event entrance.

I’m in!

I can tell you cars were already arriving at the mall around 6am last time. That may have been due to some pent up demand since it had been a year a half since the last meet, but who knows? In any case, we may need to plan on arriving earlier.

We may also want to consider contacting Harper Auto about reserving some spots as they are the local Alfa dealer In Knoxville.

Fine by me! Does meeting at 7 and trying to arrive by 715 or 730 sound better?

Great idea. I'm dropping mine off for service on the first, I'll see if I can get a contact.

Hello!

My wife came home from work the other day with a small, white piece of paper in her hand. After telling me that she had originally thought she had received a ticket of some sort, she explained what your note said, which was far more pleasant than the citation it was initially thought to be. Thank you for the invite to the forums! We would definitely be interested in joining in on the fun of attending a Cars and Coffee with the group, along with any other events that might come up. There aren't that many Misano Blue Giulia's around town from what I've encountered. The only other one I remember occasionally seeing was at the Ice Chalet on curling nights with the Great Smoky Mountains Curling Club, which was actually partially influential on our decision to go with a Giulia. At any rate, great to meet a new group and we look forward to meeting folks.

I spotted a Stelvio and a Guilia at Costco a few weeks ago. I talked to the Guilia owner, he was just finishing up his shift at Costco. He told me he had just bought the car, a red 2017 awd. I don't know if he's on the forum or not, but I told him about it.

Anyway, next C&C will likely be late April. There has to be at least a dozen Alfas in the Knoxville area. It would be nice if we could get a few to show up.

I clearly missed this message and C&C this month. I ran at Road Atlanta on Friday and had to prepare for a trip on Monday, just could not give up the time to join. Sorry, but thank you for the invite... gonna make it happen soon!!

Next one is October 23, folks, get it on your calendar! If we can get a decent contingent planning to come, I'll reach out to Harper Alfa and see if they'll save us some spots next to their usual two-car display. I'm going to work on a better meeting spot for this one.

Coming up next weekend! Roll call? @RobbyMac @kennysum1 @aclemons6970 @EliseAutoXr @lflouie @TN_Alpha @FootStick
Like I said, if we can get some confirmed attendees I’ll see if the Alfa dealer wants to give us some reserved spots. Otherwise, I still need to find us a better meetup spot, I have some ideas. But also, we might shoot for a touch earlier as painful as that is. It’s just already so packed even that early.

I recently bought a 2021 Giulia QV and live in Knoxville area. Love to have an AR section set aside for 10/23 C&C. Let me know if you'd like another AR. Pls pm for contact info.

@Romba , I will be there. Had our Giulia in for the 30K service at Harper this past week, and when I went to pick it up, a matching Misano Blue QV with the Ceramic brakes was parked behind our car in the service bay. I know you had mentioned contemplating doing your own 30K service, but first thought was that it was your car. I look forward to seeing everyone.

We met at 6:30 last time and the place was already pretty full, do we want to try 6:00 this time or is that too insanely early?
