Hi TJ,

We'd like some additional details about this. Could you please send us a message with the name of your dealership? Thank you.

You really need one in New Orleans. I lived Gulfport MS which is 60 miles from NewOrleans and when I bought my QV new in Dallas 11/2018 based on spec there was a dealer in NOLA. When they closed 2/2019 the closest is now Pensacola 110 miles. Others in Birmingham AL, Houston TX and Atlanta are all considerably farther.

Dealer network in NJ is poor.

Closest one is not that convenient (Fullerton Alfa Romeo) to me and the other dealership (Alfa Romeo of Monmouth) is not open on Saturday's for service.

That's a good point. The dealer I go to isn't open on Saturdays. My selling dealer is but I prioritize service over my inconvenience; though I wish I didn't have to

Closest is Charleston SC … need one in Hilton Head SC where just about every other make is represented. Plenty of Alfas here but there would be more with a dealer.

I have to say that I really like my dealership. I think they have an excellent technician and great customer service. The only issue is their distance. Driving 40 minutes across town is really burdensome. It would be great if they would have opened a facility close to town!

As others have already mentioned, I don't understand why Stellantis isn't cross training their technicians from other brands to also service Alfas. My local dealer, Steven's Creek in San Jose, has taken great care of me so far, but it takes weeks to get an appointment and they have tiny facilities. When I talked to the GM about it, he says he can't get trained technicians, it's a struggle. So if the dodge dealer down the street had their techs trained to also service Alfas, even if it's just for the routine stuff, I could get an appointment for oil changes and other basic services without waiting a month. I would have no issue going to a dodge dealer for that stuff if I was in a pinch. Furthermore, for those who don't have dealers within 2 miles of their home like I do, I'm sure there's a dodge dealer within 30 minutes. Imagine how that changes the decision of someone who really wants an Alfa but fears having the closest dealer being more than an hour away, and then imagine the 1,000 times better ownership experience after the purchase.

So the argument might be that a large part of a dealership's revenue comes from service. So the dodge dealer down the street is syphoning revenue from the Alfa dealer. Another good argument might be that dealerships are not owned by Stellantis, therefore the only way this model works is if the Alfa and dodge dealerships are under the same ownership. I don't know, but finding a solution around these issues is better than putting a dealership within an hour of everyone that wants an Alfa...

I am exactly 50 miles from Alfa Daytona, FL

I am fortunate, my Giullia gets serviced at Ken Garff, formally Steve Harris in Salt Lake City. They have sold, serviced Alfa's, Maserati's and Ferrari's for years. The last time I was there, one of their customers lend me his Quattroporte for the day, hard to beat!

The dealership question has generated multiple comments regarding loaner car availability. I drive a Giulia but work for MB/ Volvo dealership as a curtesy car driver. We will do door to door service pickup and return of customer cars. This may take us as far as 150 miles one way to do a customer car pickup or a loaner car drop-off. Volvo customers use a mobile app called Birdseye that tells them exactly when their car will be picked up and who is coming. Great use of technology. This door to door service plan is usually part of a pre-paid service plan the customer buys up front or the dealership may charge them $75-$150 depending on the distance we have to go (to cover the cost). In most cases this is just a dealership zero cost rental agreement the customer signs. So this is how the competition is doing it. Please note: My Giulia is a joy to get into after a long day behind the wheel of a MB or Volvo.

Thanks for reminding me now that my warranty has expired, a month ago (on time, not mileage--only just over 1/5 of mileage limit is used ), I don't have to pay a thousand dollars for an oil change service (it is a Giulia Quadrifoglio), although I will probably still take it to a dealership, but insist on line items, not the padded packages. I'm not filling out your form at this time, but here are the distances of dealer service departments in my area--as you can see I'm pretty much in the Alfa Romeo wilderness (that's a joke). PS Actually, I did just vote; I didn't realize it was just one question and was in this forum.

12.4 miles
16.3 miles
26.9 Miles
30.6 miles

When I bought my 2019, I was happy that Boise had a dealer. One month after delivery, they closed up tighter than a drum in May or June of 19. Not happy now that the closest dealer is 4.5 hours away in Salt Lake. I really thought by now that another dealership would have picked up Alfa in Boise. While the dealer in SLC has been good, getting the car there and back using AR Roadside Assistance has been a nightmare, with the transporter damaging the car the last time it went. They did not acknowledge the damage and it took forever for the lame third-party insurance to pay for a new windshield. Never again will I let ARRA handle my car. Please set up a dealer in the Boise area.

I think instead of accessibility you might want to focus on quality first. I'm sure that's been brought up in this thread already, but it bears repeating. Some of the dealer staff and some of the dealers in their entirety are absolutely clueless about Alfa or how to deliver any type of service.

My dealership in Greensboro NC is closing. Very frustrating as now itll be a ~80 mile drive to the nearest one. Its a shame since I thought both service and sales teams were awesome to work with. My only gripe (I swear this applies to like 99% of dealerships & shops though) is the wicked bad wifi quality.

68 miles for me—Dealership is not even selling Alfas anymore (Chekered Flag “Alfa” Newport News, VA). I was referred to the dealership by a mechanic actually for some work and I hope they continue to service the vehicles even though the are no longer selling them.

Just a quick update. I sent my car in for service. When I got it back I realized they didn’t fix what I sent it in for(start/stop inoperable). I’ve been trying to get a hold of my service adviser for weeks now with no progress. I call, no answer. I leave a messages, no call back. My rear defrosters went out so I’ve been very motivated to get it fixed since it’s currently winter. I will probably end up taking a few hours off of work to physically drive down to the dealer to make an appointment for service in person.

Incredible to see almost 200 votes and even better, than almost half of of the voters have a dealership within 20 miles. With this very limited data (there are 100,000 Alfa Romeo owners in the US the past 6 years) and with the amount of cars sold per year (12,000 in 2022), the number (and availability) of dealerships in the country is evidently not a problem. The problems are 1) customer service and 2) technical capability to the majority of the dealerships. Get ready for more dealerships to shutdown (Alfa Romeo will not sell more than 25,000 cars per year in the US) and hopefully, Alfa Romeo will focus on increasing the customer service and the technical capability of all the few the dealerships remaining.

I think your data is skewed a bit because they are asking in a forum that tends to attract enthusiasts. There are underserved parts of this country where it wouldn't be wise to own one of these cars. You're not hearing from the regular folks stuck in a lease after a dealer disappears and theres nothing for hundreds of miles.

Alfa Romeo Cares is an OXYMORON.... I went to my dealership until the WARRANTY expired, but they really do not know what they are doing
They sold me my car with a dead battery... did not even perform a proper PDI and they would have seen i had a dead cell...poor knowledge of the car and lack of parts makes the experience really weak... if you want to hear honesty there you go....and then calling Alfa Cares.. thats the joke of the day....
really nothing more to say
my vehicle is running better out of warranty with a professional mechanic than when it was under the "CARE" of Alfa Romeo... the dealerships simply do not represent the brand, never have never will because the people at the Dealership and ALFA ROMEO CARES are not ALFISTAs
sorry but you asked for honesty

I voted 0-20 miles, but with traffic that could easily be an hour.

I'll also say that I've noticed a significant improvement in quality since the Alfa dealer moved from a Fiat lot to a Maserati

Mine is about 35 miles. But if they ever close then my next closest option is 90 miles.
I think what would be great is some clarity from Alfa on how to properly document self-maintenance on the car. I like changing oil at least every 5,000 miles and driving two hours round trip for a simple oil change is kind of a drag.

Receipts of all parts purchased and video of yourself changing it? 🤷🏻‍♂️
