Check Engine, Service Throttle, and Change Oil Pop-Up.
Full Limp Mode.

I've done at least two dozen drive cycles.

I'll check right now.
Thanks it makes it far easier to diagnose the issue if its a write issue or a table issue.

Due to the numerous software variants that are out there its almost impossible to predict and correct for small nuances with some of these software variants. Either way we will get it sorted out.

Props.

7am CST and this guy is already up...on a Saturday...working to try and make things better.

How do you check the fault codes?
With an OBD reader if you have one. I'll try to connect mine after I clear all the fucking snow and post back. The EC scan tool provided can't read fault codes. There's a few on Amazon/Ebay, fairly cheap and some times can save you a trip and remapping to dealer :)

I was just about to load my P2 until I saw the issues with CELs. Has it worked without issue for anyone yet? Thinking maybe I should hold off until this gets sorted.

The last time I ran into this code, one of the two plugs in the intake came off lose. I'll check again and give it a try.
I already checked out all the plugs and hoses connected to the intake twice.

If the fault code really is tied to those two plugs, maybe a simple disconnect and reconnect would take care of it.
@Chris@Eurocompulsion?

@ttaidapos, can you check what codes your car is throwing too?

Yeah guys, work the bugs out before i come back so i can enjoy bugless p2, thank you for your sacrafices! >:)

hahahah throwback to when @Eagle7 was giving me sh*t for wanting P2 months ago...

him: "They're perfecting it so (this) doesn't happen."

me: "It's no big deal, at worst we'll just have to flash back to stock or P1 if anything malfunctions. I guarantee there'll still be bugs even when they do finally release it."

him: "No, EC would never release a tune with bugs. It's going to be perfect. They gave you a date. Stop asking."

...well... that date came and passed, as expected we got hit with the "we need a few more weeks", but that new traction control feature sounded so cool that nobody even cared, and here we are just over two weeks later with the finished product finally released.

Guess what @Eagle7-- It still has bugs.

I'm not at all mad or anything.
This is totally normal and expected.
I just wanted to point out that no amount of time spent on research and development could possibly prevent such an occurrence.

This is why beta testing is important.
There is nothing wrong with working with a few individuals that don't mind experiencing some issues at first prior to a full release rather than having people expect a finished product and end up with this.
I really don't care and even though the car's stuck in limp mode, I'm still gonna drive her. The sound is perfect.

Regardless, I'm sure @toby@eurocompulsion will be able to figure out what's going on here pretty quickly.

I just hope he doesn't need to be in the office to do it, cuz that would mean waiting till Tuesday...
@Dorifto lol, it looks like they decided to wait for you after all.
Geez I'm sorry you guys are having these issues, but this is what happens when a developer is under pressure to release software, whether it's something like this or a game. Having done beta testing for years, I know how difficult it can be to track down a bug. The key is always being able to figure out how to reliably reproduce it so the programmer can figure out what to do to fix it. Sometimes that can be ridiculously difficult on a bug that appears to be random.

The issue with beta testing software that modifies a car's performance is the liability. The potential for damage is considerable and so is the cost depending on what might be damaged. I well understand Toby's desire to iron out any and every bug he could find. I mean look at what the factory has had to do to find and fix issues in the original software, and that's a factory team. Toby is by himself as far as I know. He's done a fantastic job so far, and I too have every confidence he'll get this sorted out. It may come down to some of you having to send in your ECU so he can see exactly what's going on. With all these regional versions the factory issues, even though it's supposed to be the same update i.e. T57, UA4, it wouldn't be surprising if there are variants that Toby hasn't seen yet.

The CELs may have nothing to do with the calibration itself but simply the write process, lets not jump to conclusions.

Clear the code if present and drive the car.

So far Johnny is the only one with limp mode. I wouldn't immediately blame P2 for this.
@JohnnyTheBeast do you have limp mode with the stock software aswell?

I already tried clearing the code, but it came back immediately.

Like I said, I'm just gonna continue to drive it as normal anyway.

Limp Mode w Pops and Bangs is still better than any other calibration I've ever had on my car.
