That’s the easy exit feature, no way to turn it off as of now. Maybe a future SW update.

I thought this could be changed through the infotainment system?

Show me please...menu path and picture. Plus also Infotainment firmware version number.

 

And unfortunately those SW levels are not applicable for MY17 owners like me.

 

So if I'm a 056 MY18 owner...what do I have to BS about to get the dealer to apply that update for me?

 

Hand the Service Manager a letter that states that because of the lack of control over the Easy Exit setting, which is available with a software update for your 2018 Giulia, any future medical bills for rear seat passenger injuries will be presented to the dealership, and ask him to sign a receipt copy.

 

Not a real solution, but hitting any of the seat adjust buttons will stop the movement at that time....

NOTE Pressing any button on the seat
memory or control panel will immediately
interrupt the automatic positioning
function (antipanic function). The
operation must be repeated to complete
the function.
