DNA-modes no longer function

I've never seen this issue here before, so it might be a first.
I have an MY20 since a month and three days ago my DNA-toggle suddenly didn't function anymore upon starting the car.

The letters don't light up and if I turn the button north or south, nothing happens.
On MY20 models it's no longer a 'switch', it returns back to centre after changing mode.
Also in the infotainment system, where you can also switch modes, I can no longer swipe towards Dynamic or Advanced Efficiency. Only the standard Natural screen appears as normal, but I can't swipe.

Very strange, as though the other modes are blocked out of the system.

I thought at first that it would be a glitch and that the problem would solve itself upon restart, but about ten restarts and 200 miles later the problem still exists.
I've contacted the garage and they're closed until May 4th, but they've never heard of the problem before so they'll need to look into it.

Car works fine otherwise and it doesn't give a malfunction, but only in Natural mode. Which is a shame when your driving style is sporty. :)

Anyways; any others with this experience and perhaps a way to resolve it?
Ten more days like this is a pretty long time. :p

Not sure of MY20 updated display and system but usually if DNA gets stuck on N mode, the ECM has registered a CEL or error. Otherwise if no ECM errors, your issue is likely a faulty switch or software issue.

It's almost certainly a software issue given the fact that I can't change the mode in the infotainment system neither.
Like I said: it seems the car has simply blocked the other two driving modes. The 'soft suspension' button also doesn't light up anymore, but that's normal given the car doesn't engage Dynamic-mode anymore.

Hello, I see that this topic has been brought up several times. My DNA switch does not light up or work. The car is locked into Natural mode. I’ve tried disconnecting the battery and resetting the possible CEL lights but nothing seems to work. I used a OBD2 scanner to check for codes but none are found. It seems to be a problem with the switch itself. The car is out of warranty 60k miles. I’m curious if there is another option besides purchasing a new switch from the dealership.
