I'm an Alfa Romeo owner like all you do, I have a 2017 Stelvio which has zero possibility to have Car play or Android Auto until 6 months ago.
we, a bunch of desperated Alfa owners in China had this opportunity to work with a group of brilliant people to develop this magic box as you can see from the first few page of this thread. We all chipped in a little bit and the product is so successful that we decided to commercialized it. There are 3 main manufacturers of Alfa car play interface by then, 2 in China,1 in Korea as you all know Kap.
We best our competitors in China and Italy because we worked with Apple team closely that make sure the user of the interface has the best experience as the system could've provided.
I'm quite happy to see some of you having the product from us and you all satisfied with it. That's a great compliment to the efforts we put on.
One of the reasons I post here is about fairness and justice. During the commercialization of the product, we have never authorized Eng or their agent to present or sell any of our products. The car play interface from the Eng website has no factory warranty nor we won't provide any further technical support, let alone the firmware upgrade accordingly to the iOS or Android system upgrade.
We try to have our voice heard, and if someone here who is closed to Eng custom, please convert this massage to them that stop the violation of our right immediately or we won't let it go easy.
Someone may raise question about why we don't settle this in Italy. We are in China, we have authorized partner in Italy who will take care of them, but this is an mainly America based forum, due to the covid 19, our expedition in US is majorly affected. So posting here might be a more effective way to protect our interest so as those who might interested in our product.
I will gladly answer any questions from you about why our product is more superior to the rest on the market which Eng would never tell you about.
