Hi everyone. I'd like to post something in the classifieds, but I'm getting blocked due to "insufficient privileges." There's nothing in the welcome email when you register about this, or in the forum guidelines. I searched, and no results. I feel like I'm the only one not in on the joke. What do I need to do to post around here? Never seen this before. Thanks in advance.

Thank you. Why don't the moderators make this information easily available? I'm the admin of a large car forum and if we had a rule like that, it would be a sticky at the top of the forum.
Also -- 50 posts? I get having a post minimum as a deterrent to scammers, but 50 is a lot. I'm not going to contrive 50 posts to be able see if anyone based in southern CA wants to swap rims (my new Quad has black Technicos and I'd prefer silver).

I tried looking for the rule as well! Luckily, I searched the community for "insufficient privilege"and saw this! Now im replying with this to try and get to 50 posts......
@Avnyc11 watch this topic, it's a starting point for new people to bump up their numbers artificially by shitposting.
The reason for 50 post count is trust. This site has no means of managing failed transactions, so limiting the users that can use the classifieds system is the only way to at least keep out the one and done members who are more likely to scam.
