Can't read the whole article but suspension is too firm in softest mode compared to an M3. GTFO.

True but "unsettled" was probably not the right word choice for that context. The references to "real world" early in the paragraph and the "Even in its softest setting" certainly implies he wants the car to be more compliant and softer in daily driving than it is in the current SOFT setting. I don't know how you could real-world drive an M3 and QV back to back on soft suspension settings and come out saying the QV feels relatively unsettled.

Now if he said FIRM is too "unsettled" for use on anything but the smoothest roads, I would not disagree.

As a lifelong M owner, the QV really hasn't changed at all from a performance perspective in what 8/9 years??
with the exception now of a mechanical LSD. The F80 that the QV initially competed with was no where near the driving experience of the QV. My old F80 was like bringing a knife to a gun fight. The F80 ZCP closed the gap for sure, but the edge was still to the QV. The new G80 has pretty much leveled the playing field & probably surpassed the QV in many metrics. I will be at MMC driving the new M cars next month, I'm curious as to what they bring and how they will be setting them up.
Will give an unbiased report...promise...I don't want to get cancelled :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

It's his opinion.. no big deal.

Bimmers are much better selling than our cars despite being more expensive (especially used).
I agree with above that BMW m3 (and I'd add Subaru Wrx) make some very quick and good cars that we Giulias won't usually beat on the streets (assuming fairly apples-to-apples among models/mods). On the track? Maybe... depends more on driver skill.

Everyone can have their preference, but the sales and resale value numbers are the numbers. I like the Alfa a lot, but it was mainly a looks and value buy.

Sorry I didn't know it wouldn't be apparent that the "cancel" part was a joke.
Unfortunately, these days you never know. Sarcasm is a dying art :)

you want boost loss/lag in a manual....drive a 930:oops:
to this day one of the best if not the best driving experiences I've ever had(y)
Also a car that did not suffer fools easily. I had an MR2 Turbo with a similar personality. Fun car... "most" of the time...

After watching other Netflix shows and others, I am beginning to realize that for some people, who are "...UTubers"....that for some the payment for the adds and "influence" they attach can be a lucrative endeavor. So they keep posting videos about things they may not know much about. I tend to ignore most of these sorts of video's. Even when they are about cars and such that I am interested in. i pay no attention to their evaluations and opinions. I haven't bothered to watch the one referred to in the OP's post. NV

Exactly... the point of all of those clickbait titles for videos and articles ("Quadrifiglio has the looks but it's no BMW") is just to get some traffic, sell ads. Hook, line , n sinker for the OP there.

Besides, if the author guy looks that bad even in a sketch cartoon, I think the godz of the universe have already hurt him enough?
