I am a fan of the Alfa five hole phone dial wheel design. In 2001 I got 156 wheels to put on my girlfriends Milano and spent a bit of time with the Dremel shaving a tiny bit of metal off of each ones bolt hole so it would fit the Milano hubs, and it looked phenomenal.
I spec’d tecnico on the 24QV I ordered. I had read somewhere that the tecnico is actually a better wheel, lighter and forged.
Can someone validate this for me and point me to something that would indicate how the phone dial is made and if in fact it’s cast, I will hang in there and wait for my 24 rather than pick up a brand new 23 at the dealer, the only difference being that it has phonedials and not painted calipers where I had spec’d red on the 24. Otherwise the specs are same: color, roof, assist and interior. Obviously the 23 would not have the headlights I so lust for or digital dash if I went that way, but the 23 is being discounted somewhat.
Thanks!
