Tecnico vs 5-hole

This has been covered extensively on the forum including how you couldn't spec the tecnico with ccb despite them fitting.

The tecnico are lighter and forged but are way more expensive 4x as much at one points, and bend; vs. the 19 inch 5 hole which are cheaper, cast, crack/break (ask me how I know), and are heavier. The sqv 20 inch 5 hole are forged however.

Irony is the tecnico are standard and the 5 hole cost more to option despite being cheaper.

Sadly I didn't know this before I bought mine, but to me the 5 hole are the best looking wheels I've ever seen 😍

A 12 lb drop in unsprung weight is actually pretty significant. I've read dropping 1lb of unsprung weight is equivalent to dropping 5-7lbs sprung weight. So, in this case, best case scenario, it would be like dropping 84lbs from the car. Certainly not enormous but could be good for a tenth in the quarter mile.

I picked up 2mph and .2 in the quarter mile on my last car after swapping OEM cast 19"s for aftermarket forged 19"s.

That said, I have 5 holes on the QV :ROFLMAO:
Or just leave my wife at home 🤣

So the obvious right choice is to have BOTH :D
That was my plan, tecnico in summer and 5 hole in winter but that fell through and I ended up with 2 sets sets of 5 hole
