Hello All - I'm hoping y'all can help me out here, because I'm having one hell of a problem with my 2019 Giulia. Here is the situation:
-- The check engine light comes on alongside a warning that the start/stop system has malfunctioned
-- Following this, there is a general failure of the car's electrical system (steering, fan, windows, ect) which also disables the push start ignition. This has often left the car dead but running, with no way to turn it off.
Over the past two years, the car has been at the dealer for repair six times. Each time, they check the battery, check the fuses, check the systems via computer diagnosis and pronounce it repaired. Each time, including this more recent time, the same series of problems described above begins anew within 2 days to three weeks from pick up from the shop.
As a result, the car has only 10k on it. I have completely lost confidence in it. It can die and leave me and the kids stranded at any time.
There has to be an answer here, and it's obvious at this point that my service guys don't have it. I want to love this car, I really do. But it's been tough so far. Any and all ideas gratefully accepted.
