A follow-up to my SGW bypass post from a month ago, I finally had some time to go through my car and show the area where the module is located. It's a potato-quality video because it's from the only device that will fit through the hole underneath the steering, but hopefully that'll help someone looking for the module.
In the video, the cables are already disconnected so it just shows the receptacles of where two cables should have been connected.
Hopefully I have more time soon to make a proper walkthrough, but there is an abundance of info here and on YouTube about installation and removal.
