And my 2020+ have installed with no problem.Which maps are you having an issue with...
The 2020 and newer or the 2018-2019 maps?
My 2018 maps were installed without a problem.
Same problem here as Surly and cqvd330..stops after about 15 minutes (~40%). Alfa was ABSOLUTELY no help. They insisted I bring the car to a dealer for an indeterminant time (without a loaner) while they engaged in a dialog with the dealer.Same experience - at about 30-40%, whole system rebooted. Same as all of the previous updates over the past year.
MY19 Stelvio uses the older map file + license file setup. You can't use the same map file you use for the MY22 on the MY19 Stelvio.Loaded v2022.09 to my '22 Giulia today with no problems at all. Wish I could say the same for my '19 Stelvio!
The dealer experience was a total flop. Nothing happened there. Dealer was telling they have the latest version and that Alfa does no longer updates my2018 maps. I showed them the FCA download site and they were sceptical about this website. I was speechless. Contacted Alfa Romeo Canada to inquire about new updated maps seen on FCA site, they did not know what i was talking about and referred me to the dealer…oh lord. Then contacted folks at TomTom asking about how to get a hold of the latest map. Again, was redirected to my dealer. cqvd330 - I am hopeful your dealer experience bares fruit.
If Surly and cqvd330 will PM me, I can give you the contact info of my case manager at Alfa.
I uploaded this version on my 2018 Giulia a week or two ago with zero problems, just like the last update. However, a note of curiosity: when I plugged the USB stick in, and in the Update function of the infotainment screen it said "No Maps Found". That said, I toggled down to "Update", pushed the knob down, and it just started running, and finished in the usual 25 or so minutes. If you try it, let us know if you encounter the license issue.

Yes, I'm aware of this. I wasn't trying to update the MY19 with the file for the MY22.MY19 Stelvio uses the older map file + license file setup. You can't use the same map file you use for the MY22 on the MY19 Stelvio.
sounds like you could use a good map and get directions
Updated my 2018 QV today to v1101. No issues.
just by curiosity, with software version do you have ? 085 ?Updated my 2018 QV today to v1101. No issues.
Do they work?NA Maps for '17-'19 v1106 released today.
That's why I gave up after 1081 but honestly I never use it anyway. Only WazeIt didn'twork for me, but I (and a few others) haven't been able to update maps since 1081.
It gets about 40% done, then blanks, then reboots with the previously installed version, so no downside to trying.
I try every new vwrsion..hope springs eternal.
Sure your USB stick is ok, and formatted properly ?It didn'twork for me, but I (and a few others) haven't been able to update maps since 1081.
