Love it. I was interested in a Moonlight Grey Matte Stelvio.

 

It’s an awesome color. Once we saw the press releases, we knew we had to have it. It looks even better in person. The dealer had a Stelvio como in the matte color and looked great.

 

I just got one also, it says clear protective film on the window sticker, so does it have PPF on it? Dealer doesn’t seem to know.

 

Is this the Lunare White?

 

Lunare White became Moonlight Grey for MY2022. Basically the same. However, this is the Matte version for the Competizione trim.

 

It’s the American lunar white - i.e moonlight grey but a matte finish

I'm digging it. It's not quite silver, and it's not quite white - two colors I swore I'd never own again - but I'd own this!

Are there any restrictions about waxing or paint car in general? I had an acquaintance with an M5 and the matte black paint. He made the mistake of taking it to a 'touch-less' car wash (right?) and they swore up and down that they did matte cars all the time and that they would make it a point to not activate the wax cycle. They failed in that attempt, and lawyers got involved. He broke two of the cardinal rules of the BMW paint guidance, and there was no way BMW was going to pay for the fix. I don't know if he got a dime, but was curious if there was similar guidance from Alfa?

The window sticker says it’s has PPF from the factory. I could not see any seams. The paint feels a little different than a clear coat.

It’s an amazing finish. I’d powder coat the wheels and swap the rear chrome badging with dark miron to complete the look.

 

I love that color.

Agree with @614 though that the wheels could be better suited to the paint finish. I’d get different wheels versus powder coat though personally 😉😂
