After I saw this reddit thread today on short vs tall gearing, I thought I'd share with the class a speed vs rpm graph I created a while back.
It uses gear ratios, final drive, and tire size to calculate the engine rpm at a given speed with 7,000 rpm as the redline.
Here's also the top speed for each gear in a table. It makes me wonder if the car could do 220 mph with enough horsepower.
What's fun for street driving is you can do a nice 1-2-3 gear pull and you're at still at highway speeds. Although it only takes a few seconds...
