is it fast ?? I just got it upgrading from EC. But if it's not much different I wanna just go with E but then I would have to drive 45 min every day for gas.
Yes the E tune is fast af. I saw his videos on tik tok and I wish I had E85 near me. Let us know how the 93 tune feels in comparison with stock I’m curious.

Big difference from stock and I have the intake. Gonna be trying 1 gallon of e85 with some tank fulls, Eric said I would notice a difference just mixing in 1 gal at each tankful

Not many people on the 2.0 platform have used or talked about ideal races tune, but I'm 3 days into running ideals e85 tune and Wow. This tune is a absolute game changer. The power gains from this tune are unlike any other tune and it truly changes the whole experience of the car. 315 WHP from there tune has got to be an understatement, I beat a stage 2 440i, and walk scats. (With video proof) I can't speak on tunes other than EC and Ideal but i strongly believe ideals tune blows every other tune out of the water. There are some small issues that have popped up in my first 3 days (error codes), UPDATE, my E levels at pump tested above e85, so I added 2 ish gallons of 91 mixed in solved the issue.no error codes since. but I'm not worried at all, Eric from ideal is fast to respond, much faster than the guys at EC and acutely knows what he is talking about and how to make appropriate changes. He tackled the issue right away and going to make changes updating my tune. Changing over from eurocompultion to ideal race was a night and day difference... don't get me started on EC. EC absolutely sucks, i can follow up on that if anyone wants me to elaborate. IF YOU HAVE A 2.0 AND WANT TO GET TUNED, TRUST ME AND GO WITH IDEAL YOU WONT REGRET IT.
How exactly can you run e85 without changing your fuel system whatsoever?

I just got IdealRace E85 and TCU tune. Between work and crappy weather I haven't even had a chance to drive the car. It's not my daily, more of a weekend car when i am not on call for work.

What i can speak about is the experience I had spending time with Eric while he tuned my transmission and ECU. He treated me very professionally and dare I say like we've been friends for a while. I picked his brains with layman's questions and some just general want to know and learn things as well. He willingly put up with me and even explained everything he had to do to even get the tunes made. Tuning is no joke!

He's a stable genius and a very friendly guy. He really went out of his way to meet me on his way home from California, just to tune my car. Not everyday you get that kind of customer service and a friendship at the same time. I'm sure I'll never be his best friend, lol, but I know he'll answer any questions I have and will help where he can.

Now off to drive once this nasty weather clears. Will update experience once I can.

I don't have enough post to sell my JB4 and auto start/stop reversal harness (turns it off at start of vehicle instead of on). if you know one interested DM me. No need for them now.

Well, to disappoint once again, I don't have a draggy to show you (yet).

However, with the TCU tune I'm able to launch control, brake and mash gas, and OH GEE WILLAKERS that Q4 is now a quadrafakelio!

In the words of my 5 year old daughter in the backseat: Dad, when you did that fast thing, my drink is now empty......

Well, I can't win at everything as i now have a mess on isle 2 but I sure had a smile on my face and the giggles. You don't truly enjoy a car if it can't do that.

I had the jb4 and it was great. Nothing negative to say about it.
But this is a whole different car.

Contact Eric. I bought some other stuff so he worked out something with me. In order to tune the transmission he has to have hands on it. There is an electrical plug on the transmission that he has to plug into and then has a harness that he connects to his computer that pulls the files. Then that's where the craziness starts. He has to go through a bunch of points to adjust. Mine being a Q4 had the points in a different order than his QV. It took about an hour to get through that part.
