So I'm finally on 085!
My oberseevations are:
-larger backup camera is great. The top corners look rounded, anyone else with the larger backup camera have that?
-love the audible BSM alerts.
-love the audible BSM alerts. (Not a typo, need to say it twice)
-the audio display in the cluster now shows an icon for what source you're playing from. I get why they do it but I'm a fan of the cleaner look before.
-the trip a/b screen averages section now has a little icon next to each average that looks like a circle with a diagonal love through it; I'm not sure what it stands for but I liked the older cleaner look
-the g force screen now says gravity or g force (I can't remember), but again I liked the old way better
-when a door is open, there's a picture of a giulia that takes up the whole cluster showing which door is open. May have been there before, I'm not sure, but feels new to me.
-race now shows the speedo and not the tach front and center. I thought I wanted this but I'm torn. I feel like they could have found a way to make both equal size, or perhaps let the user choose with the stalk button, but at least mph is now shown in race, and the tach is still there albeit small.
-i don't have a setting for easy entry, but I think they've changed the logic; my driving position has my seat behind the B pillar, and before (can’t remember if this happened on 056 or just 053 [I feel like it did on 056, and only in the last month hasn't happened anymore {and I haven't changed my driving position}]) my seat would slide back on entry and exit but now I can confirm that it only happens if my last driving position is in front of the B pillar. I can't disable this, as I don’t have the setting even though all my modules were updated, but I don't need to as based on the current logic and my current driving position, the seat doesn't slide anyway and I don’t need it to.
- disabling of the park sense while parked doesn't work because something went wrong during the updates of the software and all modules and I now have a "parksense unavailable service required" warning message. The car reports the hardware is fine but the connection is missing. I'm sure it's something software related, but leaving it off overnight to reset did not help.
I haven't noticed anything else, and other than the parksense issue which I'll get fixed, I'm happy with the changes and am still baffled how hard it is to get an update, especially when the audible BSM feature is a clear saftey enhancement.

I took my QV to the dealer for a recall (Adaptive cruise) in September 2019, and asked them to please install the update that would give me the digital speedometer in race mode, and the larger backup camera.
The dealer left my current software version unchanged.

I called Alfa Romeo Customer Care asking about TSB 08-081-19, and they told me to contact the dealer.
I've called the dealer several times asking about TSB 08-081-19, and am told they will have somebody call me back, but I don't get a callback.
I have had my center console go black while driving, but it did not reboot (as mentioned in TSB 08-081-19) and I cannot reproduce this symptom. So I have not yet mentioned this to the dealer.

Avnyc11, how were you able to get to finally get to version MV085.000.046?
Did you perform the software update yourself, and have the dealer to the module updates?

Any help is appreciated!

as it does not come on itself. if you are familiar with doing proxi yourself with MES, try changing Byte 74th. EU cars have it either 0xA7 or 0xA3, people change it to 0xAB. having ETM firmware at least at MV072 or newer will show up Easy Entry in menu. Now question is if that works. Here from my observation rather only cars manufactured in 2018 but may be dependant on firmware version. I was lucky the way that my car was manufactured on 10 Apr 2018 and on 13th Apr they already gave you MV072 and Easy entry setting, so when I did proxi mod it just worked (with newer infotainment firmware of course)
Now, the USA cars I seen (at least with 1st generation radio) had though that byte set to 0xA2 from factory, so not sure if it shoudl change to 0xAA or 0xAB to get it operate in USA car. Of course if dealer will do proxi restore from FCA server, you will need to activate it again.

It is 2nd USA car I hear problems after PAM update (@SniZ 2018 Ti Sport case). Maybe when dealer will find solution for you, find out and let us know what he did.

Updated software myself with the help of someone who knew what they were doing, but modules require a witech tool which you need from a dealer as the subscription is expensive

No luck after I took it to the dealer and I don't have mes/cables so I can't change the bytes, but the current behavior right now works for me as the seat doesn't slide anymore based on how far back I sit
