Hi guys,
Just want to gather more info on what is really required to activate the option to disable Easy Exit. From my understanding the bare minimum requirement is having the 2nd gen ETM with firmware 072.xxx.xxx and above installed. However, from what i can gather on this forum @ratix is the only person able to activate Easy Exit with just a procsi change only on a car that did not come with it from the factory. I am not sure if he is leaving out some other info, like maybe he also had to change a new Seat Module. No one else i can see successfully activate this feature by just changing the procsi.

@ratix
EMEA 2016 MY. Original Byte 74 was A7, he changed to AB and Easy Exit works

@stocki
EMEA not sure what year is your car. Your Original Byte 74 was A3, Changing to AB did not work for you. Easy Exit menu appears in infotainment. But it will not stay in the Off position. Automatically toggle back to On

My car
NFATA 2017 MY. Original Byte 74 was A2, I changed to AB and also AA. neither works. Easy Exit menu appears. But behaves a little different compared to @stocki, I can toggle the option ON and Off and they will stay at the set position on the infotainment. However, the seats still slides back on exit. I am on 085.xxx.xxx firmware

@JohnnyTheBeast mention he had to change the seat module to get it to work. I think the module you mention looks like picture below.

So I am trying to gather as much info as possible to see what exactly is required to activate Easy Exit.
Maybe we can start by asking members here with option to disable Easy Exit from factory to look at their Procsi Byte 74 and report what the code is with MY and region as well?

Thanks

So both 505571490 and 505571500 will work if I have heated/power seats?

Where is the location of this? I presume under the driver's seat. Is it accessible without removing the seat?
Not sure where, but seat removal is really easy.

well, just installed a used eBay 2022 Stelvio seat module in my 2017 Giulia. Hooray, the seat stays where I set it when opening the car door...no more crushed rear passengers! (I did my best contortionist act with little mirror and short T25 Torx driver to change out without removing the seat...)
did you also manage to make the comfort options work? Heated seats etc. with remote start?

Hey,

I am looking into upgrading the CSWM to be able to disable the Easy Exit and maybe also to enable the Auto-on driver comfort function.
According to my research, there are at least 3 versions of CSWM

  • 50537138 is changed to the new number 50557149 (this is what @ttaidapos has)
  • 50537139 is changed to the new number 50557150 (this is what @Type952 has)
  • 50537140 is changed to the new number 50557151 (this is what I have in my car, 31.08.2017 built Belgium spec car with 8-way adjustable electric seat with memory, heated seats, heated steering)

Prices: (at the time of posting, Hungary)
50557149: ~ 55EUR
50557150: ~170EUR
50557151: ~65EUR

It would be very interesting to see the difference between the three versions, as there is a huge price difference if you order them from the dealer.
Maybe ordering 50557150 does not worth it and a cheaper alternative can also to the job.

Could someone with Keyeper access help out and comment on the difference between the different variants please?

@ttaidapos @Type952 Could you please describe your setup like I did? Maybe that can also show the differences between the variants.

I would really appreciate the help.

I'll gather all the info into a single post. I'm also interested in the Auto-on comfort functionality. I'll give MES another look. I have the latest ETM and I don't see the option like my stelvio has. I need to install a SWG on my stelvio first and compare byte settings. Long journey bit don't hold your breath.

Well I made the changes and the auto comfort option showed up, but when I enable it, it sets itself back to off. May need a different hex to put in that.
That is already better, than what @Drew had.
Would be interesting to see what causes the difference.
Maybe HVAC software level?
What do you guys have?
If it works for @ttaidapos and that software is newer, maybe all @Drew needs to do is, get the HVAC updated.

You can try testing with a cooling spray, so you dont have to wait months :D

So I installed a SW9.0 module, had a bunch of issues with proxi that I fixed (computer settings), did the seat calibration....

And partial success. Easy exit seat is disabled and the seat memory works. However I can not re-enable the easy exit function - Everytime I set it to yes it just reverts back to no.

....any ideas???
