Hi Everyone,

I looked on the forum for some explanations to rather it’s normal or not but every time I come to a full stop with my car the rear brake make this sound like it’s locking, stick the rear rotors and it’s very frustrating…
Does anyone experienced this problem?
My car has only 800 miles and since I got it the sound still the same.

Thanks for your help!

I've experienced it before, and I feel like it was on the original pads/rotors. I don't get it anymore, but I have bled my brakes a few times since then, so maybe the act of replacing and bleeding the brakes resets something.

Really the small parking brake caliper you think gets activated every time you come to a stop? That seems super odd for it to do that, I mean you would see the parking brake indicator on your dash for one, and for it to be applied each time, I can't see that happening. Must be something else you are hearing....

I just went to the dealership last week for my first oil change and I asked about the weird noise coming from the rear brakes and apparently they said it was normal and will go away after a while and more spirited driving lol.
Well I’m over 2000 miles now and the sound still there except when I’m in race mode suddenly No more sound… I wish the mechanic could have done something because for a brand new car making that kind of noise is not normal!
