There's alternatives at Rock Auto for the CC Brakes from centric.

 

Are you talking about these? CENTRIC 10419180 , these are only $81 Cdn, not sure if picture is accurate but i do not see any sensors going into them...i cant see these pads being correct for the CCB..

 

I thought one of the wires at least was for the temperature for it to display on the info screen if the brakes are cold, normal or hot. Where is this sensor if its not with the brake pads? Is it in the caliper somewhere?

 

Pagid makes a replacement pads, same as mclaren 650

 

Any success with these?

 

I don't believe that the Rockauto pads are for the CCB. They are replacement pads for the iron rotors that are made with "ceramic" friction compound versus semi-metallic or whatever.

Edit: Well I just looked again and they DO list pads for the front CCB system. Seem very inexpensive though, too good to be true. Personally I would be hesitant to install a Centric pad that low cost on a CCB car...sometimes RA makes mistakes and Centric is not the best brand.

 

That's what i'm getting at. It sounds too good to be true for the price. Its almost worth to order a set to see just how good they are and if they really do fit the CCB's.

 

Hmm. I thought that the front caliper had the same basic pad size for the 2 systems. Different piston sizes, different fitments, but same physical size.
