My sunroof works wonderfully. I’ve had no issues with it whatsoever and it’s my personal opinion that it makes the Giulia much better looking. The dark roof with the tinted windows softens the amount of color. In addition, it works well, opening and closing quickly. Passengers also like the backseat sunroof as well.

Sunroof on my 2020 Stelvio TI rocks. Works great.

 

I had a 2018 Ti Q4 for 1.3 years and 14K miles and never had an issue with the sunroof.

 

Sunroof is a problem free spot for now...

 

I've a sunroof. I don't like them but it came. I used it twice. I've never had an issue in about 15 months.

This is a real guilty until proven innocent thread. May as well ask, "Is anyone NOT having trouble with the storage cubby near the headlamp switch?" or, "Is anyone NOT having trouble with the coathooks?"

 

Yes, in law this is called a leading question...As in, “Is it true you’ve stopped beating your wife?” I would answer the original post by saying in 13 months I have NOT had any problems with my Giulia PERIOD.

 

My coat-hooks are 100% OK. Fully functional

One slight issue here, last year I noticed mine was slightly out of alignment when closed (one side stuck out a few mm higher than the other side). Took it to the dealer and found out the rails needed to be changed which happens sometimes I was told. All good and was replaced under warranty. I don’t use the sunroof too much either but it does make the car look better IMO too.

 

No issue. I wish the buttons were more intuitive, but works fine.

 

Actually I'm changing my answer. I'd use more if I understood what the hell all those buttons up there did!

My 2018 has no issues with the Pano Roof, I have had my car since April 2018 without issue.

No one with a QV has problems with their sunroof .

 

no issues with my sunroof. use it all the time in the evening / night drives. ~10 month 8k miles.

my stelvio I had a problem with the sunroof and had to go thru the reset process which took a bit of fiddling to do right. My Giulia sunroof has been problem free.

 

Mine got stuck closed and had to go through the reset process. There is also something up in that assembly that rattles when it is hot out.

Dealer says nothing is wrong. I'm sure when the warranty is up is when whatever is wrong will break and I'll get to pay for it.

 

I love my sunroof, no problems with it at all. I do rarely open it, but the sunshade part gets opened and closed regularly.

 

I hate my sunroof, but the car came with it...had to follow the reset procedure once, no other issues.

 

One for the “wouldn’t have the car without it”, pool.

 

My sunroof got stuck and I had to bring it to the dealer to fix.

Sunroof not closing completely?

The rear (passenger side) of the sunroof is not closing completely. I'll be calling the dealership in the morning to bring it in, but has this happened to anyone else? Thanks

I consider having a sunroof a luxury item and would not want a car without one.

Overall the Giulia has been great.

 

Only the 2017 and early 2018 models have slider issues. If it's a late model you shouldn't have any issues.
