Does anyone know if the exhaust tips are staggered or equal length? And slant or straight cut ends? They look to be 3 or 3.5" o.d.

Can anyone confirm?

 

I used these off the shelf. 2.5" in with twin 3" out, staggered, double wall slash cut AUS $ 85 each side. very happy with the look.

 

Could you share a couple more photos of your exhaust tips from some different angles? Side and straight on/close up? I'd really appreciate it.

Trying to decide between quad 3 inch tips or 3.5. I worry 3.5 inch might be too large for the opening after seeing your photo.

 

Stock exhaust or? Where did you get them from?

 

Axle back muffler delete but I'm over it! waiting for Remus axle back to arrive any day.
Ordered the Tips through muffler shop that did the delete but they are easy to find online.
I think they are actually design for Commodores!!

I can't see why not, I'm not worried about them fitting after all it should be a case of shortening with a cut or lengthening with a sleeve and using a reducer or expander if pipe diameter differs.

 

I did 4" tips and they fit just fine. I love the look of the quad tips and didn't want to leave too much empty space, that's why I went with the larger diameter.

While I was at work today (I just started selling Alfas and Fiats this week woohoo!!) I had one of the techs remove the exhaust tip bezels and adjust the exhaust tips on my Centerline Competizione cat-back. I had a rattle develop last week and it ended up being the tip ratting on a metal lip sticking down that’s part of the rear frame. It was the worst on startup and going into reverse but it started to happen on light throttle inputs at low revs while driving too.

In any case, I found this thread trying to find pictures of what people had done with “real” exhaust tips and some modification or elimination of the exhaust tip bezels. I considered bolting up dual-exit tips for a quad look but honestly I’m just going to cut the tabs out, dremel the edges, and call it a day. I love the look of the large single tips with the big opening. I’ll have to post up pics once I clean it up and polish those filthy tips😬
