Hey guys I just need some advice on how to go about making a warranty claim with the dealer. Yesterday I drove home after dinner in heavy rain but total transit time was only about 10 minutes. This morning I got a “parking lamp out” error code and noticed heavy condensation in my passenger lamp and some in my driver side as well. I bought the car new in 21 with the mopar warranty but really am weary of how the dealer is going to react.
Before this happened I sent them pictures of the headlamps because I felt like they were installed improperly and there were gaps, paint issues etc. More or less they accused me of being in a car accident which of course was false, and ended up saying that the headlights were fine. Now I didn’t have any issues with them at the time so I said fine and went on my way.
I don’t know if the issues are related but I just want to make sure they take responsibility of the problem. I also live 4 hours away so I would need them to order the parts without me having to make multiple trips. If Alfa Romeo Cares is around please help.
