Is this true?. If it is, it was a well kept secret. A limited run of 275 Giulia and 175 Stelvio Quadrifoglio Super Sport will be sold worldwide.

I don't think so. There was no plan. A plan has to be agreed by management and can be executed if anyone in the team dies. It is true that Marchione had some ideas and he said in a couple of nice presentation graphs that some models would be showing up in the future years but, that was not a plan. In fact, the guy died and all of the sudden, everything stopped and nothing that Marchione said happened. They did have a roadmap, then Stellantis happened. The 6C anyone? I don’t know that FCA would have kept moving things forward according to the original plan to the letter; but there was a plan.
Same here. Kids (17 years and 11 years) are fine with back seat space, and B-pillar just perfect for me for my body height and size. The product is almost perfect. I can use the rear seat without any problem. The B-Pilar is perfectly located for me. I have zero issues with the IBS brakes, the back-up camera and I love the interior. If the Giulia, as it is right now, would be in the hands of capable management, with the right pricing (decided by that capable management), with the right marketing and with the right dealers both capability and customer service, that car would be selling 10x what is selling today.
Whoever remembers what GM did to SAAB I am having flashbacks. One of the few cars that I’ve had that I wish I had kept was a black 95 Aero with Klingon wheels.I concur that the product is just about perfect. I don’t find all the glass and screens in Bimmers, Audis and Mercs impressive or user-friendly. Few people give a damn about that stupid backup camera. The Giulia is the perfect size for a sports sedan, drives better than any competitor and looks better too even with the all-black interior they all have now. The company just sucks balls. That’s about all there is to it. Big, hairy balls. Like all the idiots who screwed up at other shitty car companies were hired to run Alfa Romeo. My 10-year old could run that shitshow better than the incompetents in charge. I could make a commercial just based on the logo of that snake devouring that poor dude and sell 10,000 cars a month. Wouldn’t even have to advertise the car. Just that fu*king snake. The dude getting eaten could be the idiot designing BMWs or something.
While I completely agree that Alfa shit the bed in the US; how would you feel if you were a European owner? You have OEM exhaust options. OEM Engine tunes. More dealers (I'm assuming). Oh and a manual at one point.I concur that the product is just about perfect. I don’t find all the glass and screens in Bimmers, Audis and Mercs impressive or user-friendly. I would have loved it. I will have a sprained neck by the time we get back from Italy in September for all the awesome cars I’m gonna see, many old and varying good too questionable shape but they’re still on the road. While I completely agree that Alfa shit the bed in the US; how would you feel if you were a European owner? You have own exhaust options. OEM Engine tunes. More dealers (I'm assuming). Oh and a manual at one point.
I don't understand the question. I have no idea what it's like to service an Alfa in Europe. Regardless, that's all in the past. They now have no products to sell. The Tonale sucks and that new Milano?Junior thing is appalling. While I completely agree that Alfa shit the bed in the US; how would you feel if you were a European owner? Tonale was 50% of all Alfa sales in Italy for 2023, with almost 19,000 cars sold (more than all Alfas sold in the US). Junior will only add sales and most likely take the #1 spot from Tonale. Then the all-new Stelvio will launch in 2025.I don't understand the question. I have no idea what it's like to service an Alfa in Europe. Regardless, that's all in the past. All that said, I had the QV out all weekend. What a freaking treat. That car just never gets old.
Whether we like them and buy them is mostly irrelevant (I’m not a fan of either but I see their draw in Italy or markets where people only have one vehicle) so hopefully they sell well so the company has funds to do next Stelvio and Giulia right (🙏).Tonale was 50% of all Alfa sales in Italy for 2023, with almost 19,000 cars sold (more than all Alfas sold in the US). Ok, well I meant that Alfa has no products to sell to "us", the enthusiasts who buy Giulias, Stelvios and 4Cs. There is very, very little overlap between the people on this forum and people interested in overpriced, over-styled crossovers that aren't fun to drive.Tonale was 50% of all Alfa sales in Italy for 2023, with almost 19,000 cars sold (more than all Alfas sold in the US). I hear you. Enthusiasts are a fickle bunch. Unfortunately, we don't sell enough volume to matter at the very top. The Tonale and Junior are necessary to finance the skunkworks teams that can create a Giulia or 4C. So, let's accept their existence and hope for their success, as that is the only way to get cars you might want. You missed my point. Alfa Romeo had the perfect platform to sell a shit-ton of cars in the Giulia and Stelvio all over the world. The Stelvio could have been the volume vehicle had they just paid attention to customer experience and brand awareness. Those days are over. I don't think having a couple of shitty new crossovers are going to fill up the bank account so they can build another M3 beater. Pretty sure that ship has sailed.I hear you. Plus, the 2027 Giulia might be great, hybrid-ICE or BEV.
Yes, the Giorgio based Stelvio could have been more popular. Stretch the wheelbase and cargo area a bit, offer more tech/stuff, and adjust the price. You missed my point. I meant that a European Alfa customer has it much better than an American one. More customization options. Better dealer support. Still offering qv.I don't understand the question. I’ll be bluntI meant that a European Alfa customer has it much better than an American one. More customization options. Better dealer support. Still offering qv.
So while i agree that Alfa fucked up and fucked over the American market, I think they are doing slightly better for the European contingent. New special qvs have the 20hp bump which iirc is similar to what bmw does with their comp models over non comp. It just sucks that they don't bring any of that to the US
It is coming to the States. My Dealer is ordering one but they have just as little info as we do.Official Press Release:
