Is this true?. If it is, it was a well kept secret. A limited run of 275 Giulia and 175 Stelvio Quadrifoglio Super Sport will be sold worldwide.

I'm too embarrassed (for them) to try it. I guarantee they know far less than we do just from this post. What happens for you US guys when you call your friendly dealer and try to place an order for a Super Sport with carbon roof and Akra exhaust?
- Have they been prep'ed to talk about the car?
- Do they have allocations?
- Will they take an order?
- Am I living on another planet?
Can someone please try? I'd love to know.

sorry, missed that... so they are on there game... a bit... good that they call you. I hope they stay in touch and work the prospect...See post #30.
What about the nettuno? If the nettuno was based on the 2.9 and that is Maseratis main engine going forward, it must have better emissions than the 2.9. Right? That is correct. The wording leaves the door open to hybridization. There is also the chance the Hurricane I-6TT is used in place of the 2.9L V6TT.
The internet sales people had no idea what it was but after discussing with the floor sales team, they had been made aware the car was being launched and allocations would be out in a month or two (again, per the dealer...who knows). The problem is, this means the cars will likely be built already, meaning, no custom orders. They dealers get what they get...sorry, missed that... so they are on there game... a bit... good that they call you. I hope they stay in touch and work the prospect...
Yes, the Nettuno 3.0TT is a 2.9 690T (QV), as it is a 3.0 690T (33 Stradale), but, Maserati GranTurismo is currently running on the Giorgio chassis, like the current QV.What about the nettuno? Typical Alfa Romeo. I went to one of the main dealers here this morning in Cincinnati, OH. I went there all happy to talk about this great news with the Sales Manager. Well. he had no idea of what I was talking about. He had no clue these cars were announced. You talk about Alfa Romeo readiness and direction to execute a plan?. Well, that may be a joke. No, you are not living on another planet. Sweeney? They are a big Alfa dealer and nice folks. That's sad that Alfa didn't even bother to tell them...Typical Alfa Romeo. I went to one of the main dealers here this morning in Cincinnati, OH. Agreed, not interested. They aren’t giving back what was on the original qvs either like the stitching on the seats, alcantara seats, etc. another half baked version that will sell for close to 100k. Pass. This just doesn't feel like enough new changes sadly. It's basically an appearance package
Or, they care so little about the brand they didn't think to tell the sales team about the briefing note they got before the launch. After all why would they tell some dealers and not others. They must have been briefed at some level.Sweeney? They are a big Alfa dealer and nice folks. That's sad that Alfa didn't even bother to tell them...
Some things about the universe we aren't meant to understand lol Seriously, who knows...Or, they care so little about the brand they didn't think to tell the sales team about the briefing note they got before the launch. Well, if you are going to go to the trouble of making marketing videos of the car being driven along the Italian Rivera and photographed alongside a 6C you had to transport to the location from the Museum, and they do a press release to announce it to the media, who all then wrote stories and put it online, then it seems reasonable that a few people might have called a dealer... For the dealer to then say, 'Sorry mate, no idea what you are talking about'... is a disaster....Some things about the universe we aren't meant to understand lol Seriously, who knows...
No, no. Alfa Romeo of Cincinnati. They are great guys, too. It is simply unbelievable that the dealers do not know the information before the customers know it.Sweeney? They are a big Alfa dealer and nice folks. That's sad that Alfa didn't even bother to tell them...
I talked with the Sales Manager of that Maserati / Alfa Romeo Dealer. There is no one above him as the owner is somewhere in who knows where. He had no clue of the Quadrifoglio Super Sport. No one in Alfa Romeo USA told this dealer's Sales Manager anything.Or, they care so little about the brand they didn't think to tell the sales team about the briefing note they got before the launch. I mean, that has been my experience with dealers for my entire life, at many different brands. No, no. Alfa Romeo of Cincinnati. They are great guys, too. It is simply unbelievable that the dealers do not know the information before the customers know it.
They didn't tell Ron's Rides either, and he is just about the only media covering the brand.I talked with the Sales Manager of that Maserati / Alfa Romeo Dealer. But WTF do I know....
I care less about Ron and his Ron's Ride. What I care is about Alfa Romeo's management informing, educating, directing and training Alfa Romeo dealers to reach out to customers, to convince customers and to sale cars to the customers. They didn't tell Ron's Rides either, and he is just about the only media covering the brand.
