Most automakers start with the entry-level model and then move on to the performance models, but Alfa has done the opposite. Alfa has debuted the Giulia Quadrifoglia Verde before the entry-level version of the Giulia. That has left people wondering about exactly what the base Giulia will be like.
We really don't know that much about the entry-level Giulia. We do know that it will exist. We also know that it will get a newly developed "high-output" turbocharged four-cylinder engine instead of the 503 hp V6 that powers the QV version. That 4-cylinder engine is rumored to have a displacement of 2.0-liters, with the top tuned version pumping out over 300 hp. The Giulia will likely also see a 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder diesel option.
As far as looks go, you should be able to imagine the QV version with no spoiler kit, huge alloys and quad exhausts. That basically describes the nice render we have from Omniauto above.
