I replaced my factory exhaust with the Outstanding Monza Exhaust from MAdness Autoworks. The shop that installed it for me just called and asked if I wanted the old exhaust back.
I need some help what do you guys think?

1.Should I go get it and try selling it, which I don't know who would want to purchase it.
2. Get it and just keep it for God knows for what.
3. Let them dispose of it properly.

I really think I should just let them dispose/recycle it, however it is practically brand new less than 500 miles on it.

Thoughts & comments appreciated.

Safe to assume you didn't lease? If you bought then I'd have it recycled.

Yes I purchased paid cash, don't like having payments. That's why I'm with you I think just let them recycle it. I mean even the tips are fake, so no value there either. I just hate wasting something that is new. But I know it will just sit in my garage collecting dust. lol

I'd say try to keep it if you can. You never know 100% whether you'll need it again or not...

Keep for sure. If you ever sell the car, the new owner may want it. Also, cars generally down the road are more valuable with all original OEM parts.

Thanks for all the input, I called the shop yesterday and spoke with them. They are going to hold onto my exhaust for me at this time. The Owner of the shop "Import Specialist" told me he would call me before hand if they dispose or recycle it. Which is good for me cause I really didn't want that laying around in my garage. So if anyone is looking for a standard exhaust please PM me thank you all again.

I plan on keeping the stock unit just in case, and stowing it away in the garage somewhere. When the time comes to move on from the Giulia I'll at least have the option.

Yea Chiguy I think that's smart and that's what I was thinking as well. I hate to throw anything away especially being so new. I'm the type I can't stand clutter and the thought of that exhaust laying in my garage would drive me crazy... OCD...... So for now I'm hanging onto it until the shop forces me to do something with it. lol

I'm with you man. I'm the same way. My wife isn't the biggest fan of parts lying around either. Certainly will be a game of tetris in the garage.

Do you have an open space on your garage wall somewhere? Hang it there. That is what we did with our Audi S4 OEM exhaust.

No unfortunately I do not have any space on the walls, good idea though. My shop is going to store for me for the time being, so it worked out, thank you.

As per the sound clips, the Monza exhaust by Madness sound much nicer than the Corsa exhaust in my opinion. It is deeper and I really like it better.

I agree with you Alfa55 I listen to both of those clips probably 100 times trying to decide. However the big thing for me was having the carbon tips. Also I can easily change the tips on the Monza to chrome, blue tip or back to carbon, that was the biggest selling point for me.
