Share what you did today with the Alfa Romeo Giulia community!

Example: Pick up the Giula from my local dealership and went straight to a detailer to apply paint protection.

Example: Finally got my window tints done, now I can't open my windows for a week

Example: Taking her for a nice spirited cruise on Mulholland Drive. Can't wait!

Anything goes!

Just added these mirror caps from Madness. I had my eye on them a few months.
I have mirror caps too but mine don’t look anywhere near as nice as yours.
Well I finally made it to the embroidery shop. They said my floor mats were too thick to embroider the Alfa logo on them. What a bummer. I bought them from @AlfaOnlineParts.com and was hoping to get the emblem embroidered. Anyone have any ideas?
Hello @AlfaRomeoCares .
I'm trying to get carpeted floor mats that have the Alfa emblem embroidered on it. Like nice floor mats that would do justice to this awesome car. Do you know a company in Italy that could make these?
I took my car in for service today...and got distracted by the eye candy...

Could you buy a patch and sow/iron it on. I did that with a hat I made

Nothing I did today, but rather 5 years ago to this day! Today is my 5 year anniversary. The best 5 years of my life, if you exclude the pandemic lol

5 amazing, and relatively trouble free, years outside of: needing a new battery due to the car having sat on the lot for 10 months waiting for me; the known early issues of the faulty crank case pressure sensor, fuel pump, and evap canister; and needing a new tire every few months thanks to NYC roads (lol!) Oh and a spider having nested in my car thanks to my selling dealer that I haven't been back to since (I made a post about it at the time).

Here's to another 5 amazing years of glorious sounds, crazy accelerations, insane handling, constant looks/gawks, and the feeling of owning (one of) your dream cars! <3

EDIT: Here's a photo from when I picked her up; look at those wheel arch gaps!

EDIT 2: I should add that I'm at 33k miles after 5 years, but 15 of those are from year one alone, meaning I'd be much higher by now if it weren't for: the pandemic; and one of my closest friends, who was a fun/fast road trip away, moving all the way down south.

Looking good Dnorman!

Thank you for your support. Please don't hesitate to drop us a line if there is anything else we can help you with for your Giulia.
Going gtam style! Fooled a couple techs at my favorite Alfa shop, made my day. Absolutely loving this car with the double H pipe and looks.

Nice! I wouldn’t be able to pull that look off. Which tires are those? Extreme Contacts?
Belts are on their way — still need to swap out the badges, add the John4C wheels back on with new rubber and add the front bumper carbon fiber…

Yea, my winter tires lol. I haven’t gotten around to getting new pilot sports, going to try 295s with spacers possibly. It’s that or 20” 😜

The steering wheel setup is on point, love it! I was thinking of doing the carbon on the front bumper also, to cover up a spot until I do the full gtam front end haha. Completely changed the look on white thou, makes it look like there’s no bottom of the bumper.

Thank you!

I think on the Ocra GT, I’ll run into similar issues with looking like there Isn’t a bumper in some lighting since it sits basically right on top of the aero.

But, in most light it adds a subtle aggressive look—it may be something I have to make a bit more permanent though.

I’ve always used VHB and adhesion promoter, these fit a bit differently and require more surface area which really isn’t available. I may have to sand down the edges for a better fitment and use an epoxy.

Upside is it’ll be on Xpel, so, worst case, that bumper piece gets ripped off and replaced. Better than replacing an entire bumper :D

Dry fit… I really wanted the gold emblem surround to work too; but the piece at the top where it’s most thin always cracks, even with the tiniest amount of VHB. I’ve probably ruined $600 worth of emblem covers. Not ordering another one.

Damn that looks so good. Sucks those emblem pieces just don’t sit right, I gave mine away lol. That glue promoter works great. I had to use epoxy on my mirror caps and the q4 rear diffuser to fill the gap. Pain to use, but better than losing $400 worth of carbon off your bumper lol. .

Went to go take a look at the finished powder coat on the Tekkla from @John4C wheels at my dealer currently.

I originally had them in a brushed double gunmetal finish—EVERYONE loved them—I just found that a glossier finish was more in line with what I was looking for, so did a hyper black and they turned out really well for what I’m going for.

I also went ahead and ordered PS4S in 255/295. I was leaning toward the Yoko Neova Advan AD09s; but I drive the Giulia quad in the rain at times (and would like more than 8,000 miles out of them).

Honestly pains me to get rid of the Corsas, I really like them.

The plan is to order more John4C wheels for the 4C and get the AD09s on those.

Any how, a quick gif I took of the updated finish.

Nice job!. Is there any chance to install the Alfa Romeo centercaps on those wheels?.
