Share what you did today with the Alfa Romeo Giulia community!

Example: Pick up the Giula from my local dealership and went straight to a detailer to apply paint protection.

Example: Finally got my window tints done, now I can't open my windows for a week

Example: Taking her for a nice spirited cruise on Mulholland Drive. Can't wait!

Anything goes!

I use an old Black and Decker 18volt cordless leaf blower. Bought it many years ago just for drying cars

Rich,
I'm old school, been a Griot's customer since they started. Have continually changed products as they've developed new ones. Currently using Best of Show Wash and Wax, and their Poly Wax. Thinking about switching to Ceramic in the future. What do you use?
YIKES!!

Besides looking horrible, I wonder if they have any adverse impact on fuel economy?

They probably waste as much fuel as start/stop saves.

Installed a set of mini window deflectors I got from Madness on their Black Friday sale. About a 20 minute job; it's just been too cold until today. Some not-too-good pics. Automotive design Fender Carbon Composite material Engineering

There's a thread on here somewhere. Search red start button or something similar. I can't help you because I had dealer install when I bought the car.

Check with your dealer. Mine sold me the part ($80?), then kindly installed at no cost.
I requested it after negotiating price of the car. Salesman agreed, no charge.

Does your car have the SGW? I've got paddles installed in my 2020 TI, but now I'm waiting for the MES hardware to arrive. Just curious how difficult is activation.
Agree with you 100% about touchscreen. I have it in my 2020 and don't use it. I was used to the rotary knob in my 2018 and just completely forgot about the screen when I got the new car. Probably has something to do with me being old lol.

A few years ago I had a10+ year old can of Fix A Flat explode in the spare tire well of a Honda. That stuff not only went all all over the well, but also blew out around the edges of the trunk cardboard floor. I used lacquer thinner to remove most of the mess. But here were still traces left when I sold the car a few years later. Guess it had an expiration date.

Cleaned out the little storage cubby in the trunk under the floor because the can of Fix-a-Flat leaked.
You're lucky the mess was confined to the storage cubby. I once had a can of Fix-a-Flat explode in the underfloor storage area of a Honda CRV. But it wasn't content to remain under the floor; it actually blew up and out into the cargo area. All over the left side panel, left window, and rear window. Had to remove it with lacquer thinner. My fault because the can was at least 10 years old; had been carrying it for years without needing it.

How did you get that IBS readout on your dash?
It’s a feature of the Squadra Tuning Performance Logger — the OBDII unit lit up in green in the photo above.
Thank you.

Same thing happened to my previous 2018 last year.

Only when it's convenient. Even then it's the same old "we're very sorry....". Like reading from a script.
