My DD is 2016 Golf R and not giving it up for love nor money. However the missus is keen on the TI.

im a VW guy as well....and i wish there was something like Vagcom for the Alfa...i would tweak a few things and enable few others!!

Yes the VCDS was great on VW's, I had 2010 Jetta sportwagon, but you can get in trouble if you go nuts on changing settings. My 2014 Mazda3 (6-speed manual, mazda still sells them, will be trading in or selling) the infotainment system is just a computer running Linux, very hackable (android auto added, touch screen lock-out removed, play video files, etc). 2014 was first year for the new Mazda3-Skyactive (new engine, new everything) and after 75k not one problem and low 40's mpg. Hoping Alfa can come close to the reliability. My Giulia is on the boat.
