So I bought EUROCOMPULSION v2 intake .. currently doing the change over … should this be like this ?

Not sure what part that is, but is it possibly something that protects the intake from a plastic or sharp edge? Dont recall that part coming with mine.

So EUROCOMPULSION called and basically said it’s garbage .

It is a split piece of tubing that you put over a ledge that is underneath the filter. I believe that it is supposed to prevent the metal screen on the filter from scratching up the paint on said ledge.

Exactly what I used mine for on my V2 Intake install. Concerning that Eurocompulsion said you could toss it when they are including it with the sales.
