Today on my way to work I had the radio off, and when shifting one gear down to speed up on the highway, I thought to hear the turbo. It was not a real whistle (like what I hear in our Audi TT), but it did sound like a spool until the next gear kicked in. This happened about 3 times. I have not heard this before, so I am curious if anyone has heard this as well on a 2.0

I hear it all the time, I have the V2 intake.

Yup, you can hear turbo sounds on the stock set up as well if radio is low or off. I generally hear the spool at lower speeds (before road noise takes over with the 19s) and blow off if you let off the throttle right before shifting.

I hear it all the time, I have the V2 intake.

Is it a noticeable spool and blow off, spool, or blow off with the V2? Is the V2 worth the price tag? I've been sitting on this intake for some time now. Afraid to pull the trigger.
