So in my '18, my shifter is delaminating. I'm out of factory warranty, but I have a Mopar Maxi and it is not covered under that. My question is, is that shift lever/knob/whatever VIN specific? Or can I buy a new one and just swap them out?

You can swap your earlier 2017-2019 shifter with any earlier shifter and it is plug and play.
